    Actually, one thing that made SB19 different, it's because of their humble beginnings. They have earned everything starting from scratch..Step by step they learned through experiences. They are not pampered and given a great support. Their struggles, failures, and hardships made them what they are now. So it is not being taught or pinag-aralan. They have it within them, so when they answer they speak their hearts and that, what captures the heart of every fans in the Philippines, and around the world.

      They thought that the "Sarah G" treatment will still be effective right now. That even though she doesn't have a Big talent to begin with, she was able to make it in the industry because she is being marketed as a "senstaion" even if she is just an Overrated "artist" (If I can even call her as such but NOPE). They thought that they can rely on "influence" only even if they really don't deserve it, and just like Sarah G, they will improve a little through the help of choreographers and vocal coaches, and eventually they will be able to convince the masses how "talented" they are even if in reality, they are just Mediocres. It is about time now for us to stop that kind of pattern and let the REAL Talented people shine. Not those who were just artificially marketed as "versatile" or "talented", or "perfect daughter", etc.

  • @SVie19
    @SVie19 Pƙed rokem +53

    I think their experiences affect the way they answer tricky questions.
    Beyond Zero, even prior to their debut mostly if not everything, is smooth sailing. As mentioned in the video, they already got everything they needed. From the support from known artists, budget, and just basically everything needed. Everything is "easy" because they don't have to worry about all of these stuff. Which is why I think it affected the way they answered these tricky questions. Yes, they have the resources but they lack the experience. They thought Tiktok will be their edge or advantage but PPOP industry is way too different to that.
    Whilst SB19, they started as NO ONE. Aside from the training, they also have their own personal struggles in life. They don't have the resources they needed. Everything is uncertain. The world literally tested their strength and faith. And this is why SB19 handles these questions like kings. Their rich experiences made them stronger and made them more aware about the reality of life. They have deep connection to music and their crafts. But afterall, they still don't forget to look back how they started and they never fail to remind themselves to stay humble and grateful all the time. To always choose kindness and this is why they really set the bar or the standard of PPOP so high.

    Instead of downplaying the achievements and talents, other Ppop groups like Alamat, Bgyo and 1st one acknowledged SB19 as their "kuya" in the industry and have always showed respect to them when they meet in events. SB19 have also recognized these group's milestones and praised them publicly. Comparisons and competition between artists maybe inevitable and given in the entertainment industry but it should be healthy and friendly without the toxicity.

    Sometimes I wonder... the management and their people in the media tried to push a narrative that put the boys on a pedestal. We all know that fandom grows out of inspiration and NOT because we are told to like a group. Viewers aren't stupid, they know when a brand is trying to get them to believe something. SB19 did SHOW, not tell. And the show was telling. Long story short, yet your work speak for itself. And to quote someone you all know, "money doesn't buy respect."

    There's this unique connection between OPM artists where they respect and compliment each other. I mean we've seen a lot of artists bonding behind the scenes. P-pop boy groups even organize basketball events for themselves. It's not always about competing against each other. It's about sharing talent and showing the world what there is to see in filipino music, like what SB19 is currently doing right now aling with other Filipino artists
    Maybe they did it to get the spotlight to draw attention once they debut, which they did. This got me emotional because SB19 didn't have that. It's like they debuted in secret.
    Imagine being introduced to the public via twitter post of dance practice by a fan who has nothing to do with the company or any of the members.
    A talent would entertain and inspire people. You get distinguished on your specialty and contributions within the group. Personality goes a long way. And lastly, Hardwork will never betray you.
    Kapag nasa mata ka kasi ng public, hinuhubaran ka pa isa-isa. Physical apprearance, talent, confidence, snense of humor, siguro pati porma, habits including personality to see if may matitira pa na maganda. If you're beautiful inside and out, panatag na mga tao na maging fans mo kasi alam nila na everytime na lalabas ka sa TV or interview, masaya ka lang, nakaka proud and you won't be dragging any artists or other personality.
    And also work in silence siguro. Yun lang siguro

    Having seen the millions of followers of these boys on socmed, the management of Beyond Zero saw nothing but dollar signs. They thought they could get away with easy popularity, easy money notwithstanding the fact that they're putting these boys on the front line unprepared, without proper training to back up their "Tiktok skills." Kumbaga sa gera, lumusob nang walang dalang sandata.
    If there's one thing the Philippine showbiz has to learn from SB19 is that it takes time, effort, hard work, dedication, energy, guts, the right disposition/attitude, and lots of training and preparation to produce excellent, world-class artists and performances! Hindi na pwede yung puro mukha lang ang puhunan para sa puchu-puchong pagtatanghal ngayon -- isang malaking insulto sa mga manunuod yung magpresenta ka ng isang matamlay at mababang kaledad na artista at pagtatanghal.

Sabay sabay silang nag hirap sabay sabay solang nangarap, sabay sabay kumain, matulog, maglaba, magluto at mag celebrate ng Christmas together away from home. They pray together, they cried together, they inspired people together, and they triumphant together too. That was the closure for Beyond Zero I needed. I don't blame the members, as I think most of them are quite young. Honestly I feel bad for them, because I think they weren't given the right preparation/training they deserved from their management. The company just threw them out to the public to be chewed out with very little preparation. I was hoping to see them grow from that press-con issue and come into their own success...Sadly, I think the company thought they could rely on their grandfathered tiktok fanbases to gain INSTANT clout. But when the management realized they actually had to invest more time, money and training to organically become popular, they just dropped the poor kids.

  • @LeeSastre
    @LeeSastre Pƙed rokem +9

    Very simple difference they have with SB19. They don't have the "Humility and ingenuity" which SB19 is rich of. Hinde Yan pinag aaralan. It's innate. This kids sound so much of this typical generation's influence "instant" shallow following. They are enveloped with so much entitlement. We call that in the corporate world "premature hydrocephalic behavior". The core values of SB19 is well defined and refined deeply rooted from their individual life stories. Their humbling experiences speak a lot everytime they talk on and off cam without them narrating their life perse. It's in their blood. It's not taught and rehearsed. Sorry but looking at these kid's performances, they seemingly have to establish their craft to level themselves with SB19 whatever that edge they said. Honestly there's nothing to compare of in all perspective. No point at all.
    Now Here's my fair share as an avid SB19 fan (Felip bias) , ang performance nyo kids or ur talent in general ay napapanood ko lagi sa ordinary school program or sa barangay namin sa province sa Mindanao. There's nothing wrong of dreaming goin global like SB19 did (partida nasa top pa sa billboard of the renowned performers pa yan internationally). But you don't have an idea how they painstakingly endure the challenges endlessly before they reach that apex.
    But you have heard Cullen's piece on the same question. Learn from him... That means You need to stay novice at Josh's Development Center of Excellence for decades to prove yourself and compare yourself to SB19. You have so much room for improvement from vocals to honing your personal values.

    Well said Kuya Chuck. Anyone could possess all these insane talents but without humility and good attitude. People will never be fascinated with you.
    That's why "Mana" of SB19 is very inspirational. The goal for their sound to break the global scene yet staying humble, without forgetting the ground beneath them.

Judging by my own eye if they will exceed or at least reached my expectation or what we call “Standard” I will some how forgive them but until now I admit that this issue still irritates me 😅 thou I hope they all still okay and try to get better.

    Sincerity is proven for SB19. They are not hypoccite human beings nor ashamed to tell the world of their humble beginnings. Where they came from and how they started and what they have been through. They are truthful and speaks spontaneously without hideous of the painful experiences in their lives before they reach the echelon. Look where they are right now. They continue to explore and show the world of their talents and of how great and lovable they are. Love SB19 to the best of their ability. The fame of being famous has no place for arrogance in their well beings.

    One more thing sa mga magdedevelop o mag mementor ng mga talents needed to have also a good moral values/manners and good ethics coz you will be guiding, you will be mentoring a model to the public. Gaya nga ng nangyaring yan sa kagustuhan nilang pabagsakin ang sb19 aklain mo, parang ang nangyari nag alyansa sila to push their agenda. Nakakahiya actually ang nangyari its a full display of crab mentality.

    May I add to "Humility" (as a key factor to SB19's success) is this:
    SB19 set the bar sooo high that all the remaining and/or succeeding groups will really have a hard time catching up or surpassing what our 5 boys have and will still achieve unless the other existing and incoming groups will show exceptional talents.
    Mahihirapan talaga ang maraming kabataang humabol. That is the kinda painful reality.

They aim to inspire & lift up anyone that needs it. It's okey to be confident but never boasful. . . being humble doesn't hurt!
