The fruit at 3:00 is called Mamey or Sapote in some regions. Tastes sweet when it is ripe enough, and soooo nutritious!
Thanks for the info. We didn’t know what it was but when we tasted it, it tasted like what we call Chico in the Philippines. I just googled what you said and Sapote is indeed Chico or vise versa but the Chico we know never grow as big. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏽
Taxi to Playa del Carmen from Grand Palladium hotel group and the TRS ( which is one of the four Palladium hotels in the resort) is way too expensive given the fact that there are the "collectivo" mini vans that locals, resort workers living in and commuting to Playa del Carmen and tourists are using. Collectivos are passing literally outside the main entrance of the hotel every half an hour up until midnight and they are small air conditioned white vans fitting about 13-14 people with a collectivo label written on them and a destination lebel appearing on their windscreen ( to either Tulum side or the Playa del Carmen side)! I am pretty sure they are the official council or government public means of transport! There is a collectivo bus stop (called palapa) literally outside of the main hotel entrance. Ask the hotel reception or any worker from your resort and they will point you to the collectivos bus stop, since they stop in all big resorts eg. Grand Sirenis, Unico etc. Their price is about 40-50 pesos to Playa del Carmen main collectivos bus stop ( 5 min on foot from Playa del Carmen's famous 5th avenue), 25 pesos to Puerto Aventuras marina and dolphins Park ( between TRS and Playa dC) and about 30 pesos to Xcaret or Xsenses theme parks which is LESS than 3 US dollars per person, each way! They are fast, cheap and trustworthy...So in total for a person is between 5-6 US dollars for a return ticket with a collectivo! Don't forget-Do it like the locals!

Beautiful, would you pick this or Finest punta cana?
Hmmm thats a tough question. We enjoyed our two floor suite at the Finest Punta Cana but the infinity pool is gorgeous at TRS Yucatan and the beach is calmer. The free shows and all day activities at The Finest are great which i think is lacking at TRS Yucatan but The Chic Cabaret at TRS is a must see. I guess it just depends on whats important to you. Both places have their strong points and they are both amazing. But if we were to choose to return to one of them, we'd choose The Finest Punta Cana with the same room.
