There are some good ones out there. Or you can knock off the breading from a frozen one, add a double coating of your own, deep fry, and really wow all your friends with a super delish copycat version from your old non-vegan favorite restaurant 🌱❤️

I am really glad Morningstar is going to be vegan by 2021 they have come out with great corn dogs and nuggets!
They're my favorite brand. I'm trying to transition from vegeterian to vegan, so I hope they make a vegan version of their maple sausages. I love them, but also a plus for me since they have B12.
In Canada the "follow Your Heart" brand is sold under the name "Earth Island" - same stuff.
Oh that's so good to know I've had recommendations from Canadian vegans and I can't find Earth Island but I can get and love a few of the Follow your heart stuff so that's great! I like the pepper jack "cheese" and then there is a really good soft "cheese" but I'm not sure if it's FYH or the Sheese from Cornwall that is fab.
Chao cheese is the absolute best and easy to find at Walmart, Whole Foods and Kroger here in the South.
It's also at HEB if you're in Texas!

Pardon my ignorance but doesn’t it contain a milk derivative, like casein or something? I remember buying it once and my vegan roommate pointed out one of the ingredients to me I didn’t catch. Much love from the South also :)

Once I tried Milkadamia Milk I could never go back to Oatly or Silkmilk. It’s the perfect creamy texture without any aftertaste

James Wood please tell me why humans would ever be designed or evolved to have to drink another animals pus/milk. Because that shit isn’t a thing, cows milk is for cows, there is no nutritional value in it that we need. They have to add calcium and vitamin D. There’s a reason why they’re not legally allowed to advertise milk as healthy.
@@livi9591 Any milk is for infants anyway. All the rest dairy, processes and/or fermented, is for adults. That's what we are designed for, fermented animal products. It's insanity to believe we are designed for highly industrialized products like those beverages you've calling "vegan milk".
thewhite8uard you’re actually delusional. If that was the case then humans wouldn’t produce milk when they have babies: dairy isn’t meant for humans. 65% of the world is lactose intolerant. If we really were designed to eat dairy majority of the population would be able to digest it, but as you can see, they can’t. The only ones who can actually digest it are the humans who have been eating diary for thousands of years, which is a small part of the entire world. Plant mills aren’t even that “highly processed.” Get this, you can make your own at home with simply nuts/oats/etc and water. That’s it. Two ingredients. You can’t make cows milk without processing it multiple times to get out blood and other things. They also have to actually manually add calcium and vitamin D. Any dairy shouldn’t even be a thing as humans don’t need it, and it actually isn’t even healthy.
@@livi9591 Lactose "intolerance" is the same thing as sugar alcohols "intolerance", not digested carbs is consumed by certain microbe, which causes digestive issues, nobody cares about the "intolerance" of sugar alcohols of fruits and artificial sweeteners, but milk is some how dangerous.Lactose intolerance is a fake issue. More than 50% is gluten intolerant, nobody cares even though gluten exposure is really dangerous and could lead to autoimmune diseases, including type 1 diabetes.
By the way, fermented and/or processed dairy is low in lactose and suitable even for lactose intolerant adults. What do you not understand in cheese, yogurts, and butter?
By the way, paleoarcheology proved significant increasing in human population back then happened due dairy invention.
By the way most of lactose intolerance in the world is a secondary lactose intolerance due damaged small intestine most likely caused by gluten intolerance.
The Beyond Burgers have changed everything for me. I even grind them up and use them to make chili, because it's so much more meat-like than the other ground beef substitutes out there.
@James Wood It seems like coming to a vegan food channel and saying "why don't you just eat meat" is a question asked in bad faith.

@@OsirisMalkovichIn California they now sell beyond meat in a 8 oz. Portion that cooks up soooo good I have used it in Chile and past and impossible is doing the same but we haven't gotten here yet.

We got similar tastebuds bc I love everything you suggested. I use to love McDonald’s chicken nuggets when I was little and I found one that just the same gardeins mandarin chicken has the same texture. I just don’t use the sauce and I just get a whole bunch of sweet and sour sauce at McDonald’s so I can still get that nostalgic taste

I love your hair like that. So pretty! I agree, eating a vegan diet does not have to be hard. You can make everything homemade, but if you are in a pinch or just don't feel like cooking, there are many great alternative products. One of my favorites are the Butler Soy Curls!

when people tell me they don't like the silk unsweetened soy milk I am always so shook because it is literally so drinkable and works so well in cooking, I 100% agree that it is one of the best if not the best soy milk

One of my favorite cheese is Nuts for Cheese, their Un-Brie-Lievable is mind blowing, made in London Ontario and available at some Sobeys. And I totally use the follow your heart Parm! Will have to try the smoked Gouda!

Awesome video I concur with everything you said..... Only two products you mentioned I haven't tried yet. For the low carbers out there all beyond meat products with the Xtreme wellness 4 carb tortillas and follow your heart cheeses are amazing!!!!
Great video. In the UK we have Alpro plant based milk and others such as Oatly, Almond breeze, Almond dream, Rice dream, Rude health and Innocent plant based milk. Meat alternatives include Quorn, Beyond Meat, The Meatless Farm Company and Linda McCartney brand and stores have their own version of plant based milk, meat, cheese etc alternatives.
I've never been a huge fan of provolonge cheese but I tried the one you mentioned in the video and it's by far one of my fav cheeses right now. And it melts! I was so mind blown the first time I used it. I have started to dive into the world of nut cheeses- pretty big adjustment but they are tasty in their own way.
Loved this! SO SO SO helpful! I also love butter on banana bread haha but never ate it with a spoon 😂 Also o definitely agree with follow your heart as some of the best vegan cheese! Especially the shredded mozzarella for pizza 😃
I agree with all of your recommendations! I also love Earth Balance's spreadable butter, cashew milk is creamy and is the closest thing I have found to the real thing...definitely underrated, Milkidamia which is a macadamia creamer is great for coffee and tea, nut pods is a close second, Chao cheese really melts and is the best alternative I have found, finally ozo meat is spot on I tried the Mexican seasoned ground and it cooked the exact same and had great seasoning. hope this helps!!

Oat milk is amazing. I started using it about 6 months ago and will not use anything else. It tastes so good and works so great for cooking and baking.

The gardein fishless Lille’s and their sliced sausage are my current favs closely followed my the beyond sausage and the new Morningstar buffalo nuggets.
Miracle whip was my fave so no surprise I the the follow your heart the grape seed is my fave when I can find it!

Earth’s Own Oat Milk is one of my favorite product ever, especially the vanilla one. Fieldroast are good, I love their wings and corn dogs. Also I don’t know if we only have this in Quebec but Gusta cheese is actually bomb on pizza and nachos. Also, Paradis Vegetarien’s bacon is so good.
Gusta has been expanding like crazy within the past year or so, I was able to find it in Edmonton when I was living there. And I agree, Gusta is an amazing brand!

I’m obsessed with the silk hazelnut coffee creamer, it’s the best 🤤 also I tried the almond breeze dark chocolate milk and I was surprised in how good it was.

It’s still hard to find vegan products in our town. We do have some and garden tenders are our favorite! It’s nice to have them when I don’t feel up to cooking.

Vegenaise is the best great for making creamy sauces & dressings.Follow your heart & tofurkey the chick'n peices & deli slices are really good.We just got some gardein here in Australia its good but expensive.
I was always a sausage lover and when I want sausage with pepper's and onions I'm a beyond girl the spicy are my go to. For breakfast my go to is the Gardean ( I hope I spelled that right? I am shit at spelling). I love all them. Sometimes though I do get a little freaked out how real the mock meats taste.

My favourite vegan butter out here in the UK is Naturli, it’s the closest, if not best butter or alternative I have tried. We also have flora buttery, and vitalite, but the vitalite doesn’t melt well into toast for example! Milk wise Koko is the best for me! I drink coffee, and it’s so hard to get the non dairy milks to mix without separating. Cheese wise the best vegan cheese I have ever tasted is vegusto, seriously, try it! Meat free burgers is the no bull burger from Iceland, (the shop not the country) sausages Sainsbury’s do some amazing spinach and mushroom ones, Linda McCartney have just brought out the Lincolnshire ones and they are 👌 quorn also do some really good breaded chicken styles. See if you can get hold of the Naturli butter and Koko, and Vegusto!

30+ years ago, when i went vegetarian, the only options were make it yourself or open a can. Veggie products in the freezer or refrigerated section of a Grocery Store? THAT ain't gonna happen. LOL
