great video but it was way too easy to read what you were typing, consider a smaller screen or window, or maybe you could move it further into the corner

What is the exact activation error shown on that page?
Is the newly installed edition (Home, Pro...etc.) of Windows 10/11 the exact same as was previously installed on that PC?

this error code usually caused by the User Account Control (UAC) prohibits activation processes from running in a non-elevated command prompt window. To resolve it, you can try the following steps:
Open the Start menu and search for Command Prompt.
Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
In the command prompt, run the command:
      slmgr.vbs
      Hope it helps.

why did it say my key is blocked ?

    • @indigosoftware9625
      @indigosoftware9625  Pƙed měsĂcem

If you tried activating Windows 11 using a command prompt and received a message that the key is blocked, it could be due to several reasons:
Invalid Key: The key you are trying to use might not be valid.
Key Already in Use: The product key might have already been used on another device. Microsoft’s licensing terms typically allow a key to be used on only one machine at a time unless you have a volume license.
Expired Key: Some keys, especially those provided for evaluation or promotional purposes, may have an expiration date.
Incorrect Key for Windows Version: Ensure that the key you are using matches the version and edition of Windows 11 you are trying to activate (e.g., Home, Pro, Enterprise).
Regional Restrictions: Some keys are region-specific and might not work if you are attempting to activate from a different region.
Microsoft Server Issues: Occasionally, activation servers might be down or experiencing issues, preventing activation.
      Steps to Resolve the Issue
Check the Key: Ensure that the key you are using is genuine and has not been used elsewhere or blocked.
Use the Correct Key for Your Version: Verify that the key matches the specific version and edition of Windows 11 you are trying to activate.
Contact Microsoft Support: If you believe your key is valid and should work, contact Microsoft Support for assistance. They can help verify the key and provide guidance.
      Try Online Activation:
Go to Settings > System > Activation.
Click on Change product key and enter your key.
      Run Activation Troubleshooter:
Go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation.
Click on Troubleshoot to see if Windows can resolve the issue automatically.
Reinstall Windows: As a last resort, if you continue to face issues and believe your key is valid, you might consider reinstalling Windows and attempting activation again.
If you need further assistance, providing more details about the key and where you obtained it might help in diagnosing the issue more precisely.

Hey, when i typed "slmgr /ato" it said exactly this:
    Activatind Windows(R). Professional edition
    (2de67392-b7a7-462a-b1ca_108dd189f588) ...
Error: 0xC004F074 The Software Licensing Service reported that the computer should not be activated. No Key Management Servise (KMS) could be contacted. Please see the Application Event Log for additional information.
    can you help me?

    • @indigosoftware9625
      @indigosoftware9625  Pƙed měsĂcem

The error code 0xC004F074 indicates that your computer is unable to contact the Key Management Service (KMS) to activate Windows. This issue can arise from various reasons, such as network issues, incorrect KMS settings, or the KMS server being down. Here are steps to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Step 1: Check Your Network Connection
Ensure that your computer is connected to the network and can communicate with the KMS server.
Step 2: Verify KMS Host Settings
      Open Command Prompt as Administrator:
Press Win + X and select Command Prompt (Admin) or Windows PowerShell (Admin).
      Set the KMS Host:
Type the following command to set the KMS host name:
      slmgr /skms your_kms_host_name
Replace your_kms_host_name with the actual KMS host name provided by your organization.
      Check the KMS Host:
Verify the KMS host settings with:
      slmgr /dlv
Step 3: Firewall and DNS Settings
Ensure that the firewall is not blocking communication to the KMS server and that DNS settings are correctly configured to resolve the KMS host.
      Allow KMS Traffic Through Firewall:
Open the firewall settings and allow traffic on port 1688 (the default port for KMS).
      Verify DNS Resolution:
Ensure that the DNS is correctly resolving the KMS host name:
      nslookup your_kms_host_name
Step 4: Check for Time Synchronization
Ensure that the system time is synchronized with the KMS server, as time discrepancies can cause activation failures.
      Synchronize Time:
Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run:
      w32tm /resync
Step 5: Check the Application Event Log
Look at the Application Event Log for more details on the error.
      Open Event Viewer:
Press Win + R, type eventvwr, and press Enter.
Navigate to Windows Logs -> Application and look for events related to software licensing.
      Step 6: Manual Activation
If all else fails, you can attempt manual activation using the product key.
      Enter Product Key:
Open Command Prompt as Administrator and type:
      slmgr /ipk your_product_key
Replace your_product_key with the actual product key.
      Activate Windows:
      Then, run:
      slmgr /ato
