Next King of Macba needs a new rule: No same trick, regardless of different spot.
Kinda disagree, kickflip over a table is so different than kickflip down the stairs imo, same for the grinds you can do so many different noseslides it'll narrow the possibilities
I agree. Atleast something like you can only do the same trick 2 times. DiLo be Switch Ollieing everything and it makes it a little boring to watch. Especially when you know how big DiLos trick bag is.

OG,MACBA: it’s a gentleman‘s rule you don’t repeat the same trick on different obstacles.
Just like there’s a variety of obstacles to skate, at a minimum, new obstacle new trick. If competition is the only goal, you’re easily going to pick a trick that your opponent can’t do and milk it for two or three letters.

REmember a few weeks ago when i commented something like "is it fair to use the many pad when they are different stances?" and i got ripped haha. he just said its harder going one way. now i have another concern... is it fair to ollie up the stairs when you are different stances, since a heel side carve would be easier then a toe side.

I mean the goal is to skate the plaza. It's ready made for big ollies and nollies, and to Cody's credit he was game and matched a bunch of them. I did not think he'd be able to ollie up the five stair, that was sick. Dilo also set two manual tricks, a switch heel, and managed a switch heelflip fs body varial on flat for defense which was pretty impressive given that's not really his thing. I thought this was a great match, yes skaters have different styles but they all get their chances to set and defend and Dilo was more consistent on both offense and defense.

Rules don't need to be changed. If you have switch heels, switch kickflips, nollies etc like that you can exploit em. Every one of those is insane difficulty. Plus Cody ruined his chances not landing his set trick, the bs nosegrind to regs 3 times. Fair game.

Wanted Cody to win so bad, Next Macba needs to have a rule of No repeated tricks if they've already done that trick in a previous game in the competition, would make the competition so much more entertaining and challenging for the skaters not doing the same tricks all the time...Boring seeing so many Ollies and Switch Ollies being done from Leandre and Di Lo!! Would have been satisfying seeing Cody defeat the 2 kings of the OLLIE!

I think CC missing a relatively basic trick on offense a bunch of times doesn't help this game but yeah, I think the whole "exploit your opponents weakness" isn't really in the spirit of a game of skate. Unless it's for a "death blow" anyway. I know you can argue "no rules broken" but man this is skateboarding
Yeah Dilo was more consistent on both offense and defense. Cody had plenty of chances to set a trick that was in his wheelhouse, and he didn't manage to do it too often. If you are more consistent on offense and defense like Dilo was, you will win every time. People trying to white knight Cody but I'm sure he's fine with it.

Called it, if Cody didn't go first, it would've set the tone, and john just had to repeat previous tricks to win. I will say i had my bets set on cody but seeing they've worn the same outfits for three rounds now, id imagine the stamina levels are drastically different. Cody went pretty hard in his round 2 battle and Dilos only been doing ollie's. It just doesn't make for sensibility and is honestly kinda making me dislike Dilo despite how good he is elsewhere. Tbh tho he prolly just wants the prize money, which i'm hoping Adriel or Kilian shut down cause he doesn't seem to care about the title.
