Being a latest VIT passout with multiple offers in my bag, I don't agree with the CGPA part, yes 9 CGPA will help, but unless you are good in technical and coding stuff, it doesn't matter even if you're a 7-7.5 cgpa. I know many people with average cgpa getting packages of 15-25 lakhs.
Bro plz help, is vit really good because after seeing videos of Yash Garg and some other, it doesn't seem, one of the you tuber said that mostly 80 percent gets placement through mass recruiters, nearly 80 percent, plz help me
@@rishiraj1820 If you're coming to VIT , you can't expect that you'll get placement without any effort. You have to put effort from your side as well. Even if you're average good, you can crack 5-6 LPA. and most of the students have mass companies offers (3-4.5 ctc) as a backup offer, in case they won't get any bigger offer. And let me tell you all the placement records and companies given by VIT is actually True and I can confirm that.
All I can say that, Placement wise VIT is great, but obviously you have to put your effort as well.

Guys, I'm a VIT Vellore student, just wanted to highlight the part where he said that he got to know that the mess food is good but let me burst the bubble, it's really bad guys. I've struggled with food for 2 years there. Initial few days they'll give good quality foods just to impress and all but after that you'll suffer like hell. But yes, you've many options outside our campus.

@@varundudhane3279 No idea brother. I recommend you to search online for this piece of information. But personally I don't recommend going to Bhopal campus since it's very newly constructed. I think you'll not be able to use most of the infrastructures which are available at the Vellore Campus.

I'm an engineering student and I've gone through that phase where everyone of you are like yes we're gonna become excellent engineers and do everything around engineering but the truth of the matter is that close to 95% of engineering students take up fields after graduating which are not at all related to engineering. So I don't think you all should put so much money into private colleges unlessyou're crazy about it. Instead save that money for something else which could help you guys in future.

Being a student of 8th sem, I can say VIT is one of the best college in India. 2022 placements were awesome, even students with average CGPA got super dream package. About mass recruiter, its only for backup.

I'm VIT VELLORE MSC CHEMISTRY 2021 GRADUATE.
1. #Catagory bas bolne k liye hai, iska aisa koi locha nahi hai. Pehle aise hota tha. Aab 20-30k rank mein bhi category 1 mil jayega. The only twist here is they take students looking at each year's demand.
2. VIT's placement is not fake. It really gives high packages even in general science & interdisciplinary streams.
3. You don't need 9 CGPA to sit for placement. The criteria are-
a. You need to have more than 6.5 to sit for placement.
b. Even then your skills, personality, your English communication matters. For language, accent or fluency or grammar doesn't matter but simple spoken English with confidence of delivering good speech & 1-0-1 conversation matters.
C. For Microsoft, HP, Dell, skills with 9 CGPA high chances of getting job.
4. Very strict campus rules. Even girls can't roam laughing, screaming, without reason. Everybody is like always spending time productively - either studying or making projects for courses like robotics etc. on ground.
5. There are obviously places to chill but remember play decent. No kisses.

Also forget about your social life in VIT it's literally zero. VIT is Kota hostels - fun - good teachers.

4:15 I'd say it is a good thing if you think from the other way round. Other private colleges like VIT have 4-5 lakh yearly tution fees which becomes unaffordable for most. So category system is good in this regard

I gave VITEEE last year, got 8k rank so naturally i was getting cs in vellore campus in first round but what made me not get into this college was that one of my friends bagged 97k rank and still he got cs in bhopal campus. That's when i realised vit is something else.

Of questions is approx 80 toh speed bht achhi honi chahiye tabhi paper complete ho payega. Also, when i gave the paper last year, there were certain rules like u cant go back to the question after clicking "next" and u can't choose the order of subjects or questions in which u would like to solve the paper...i Remember mere paper mein last mein was english and reasoning but time he nahi mile toh i couldn't solve any of them lol.

hey bro nice video but there is a calculation mistake at 4:54 if we take 6 seater non ac and veg mess it will cost around 1 lakh per year (actually a little les but i have assumed for simple calc i think you have taken 15 thousand every which is to be paid once plus it is refundable so maximum fees can be 24 lakhs for category 5 6 seater non ac veg mess and if you take 1 seater ac special mess it can go upto 27 lakhs
