P.S. when i fill my tank my navi is always on the center stand 😁, I'm going to buy another navi. My navi has been super dependable. it's 100% stock ,haven't touched the valves yet. I've changed my oil and trans oil many times . i live in South Texas , winter i use Honda 10 w 30 , in summer i use 10 w 40 castrol synthetic blend or valvoline 10 w40.
I am getting into riding on a small scale. I use my E-Bike all the time but I want something cheap for longer distances or for a rides to work, occasionally. I want to go slow and take back roads so this is appealing to me. My ultimate goal is to save up to buy a Can-AM Ryker cash. I think I can fit both in my parking space and that would be perfection.
That’s a solid plan! Love this Navi! I’ve yet to test a can am… yet have heard great reviews.
Just bought mine, first time bike owner! Thanks for reviewing it
Congratulations! How do you like it so far?
Do you need a license for it
I’ve owned mine for three months now and I’m right at the 600 mile mark to do my oil change. When you get past the break in period (300 miles) it definitely gets a lot more peppy. I can top out at about 62mph on a flat road zero wind. It’s great beginner bike or just to buy and mess around town with. I commute 15 miles one way for work and it does just fine, just no highways😂 can’t beat the price tag either picked mine up for 2400 out door. Give the brakes alittle time to set in too they’re drums so it takes some breaking in.
I don't have a car or anything. I need one but it's expensive.
Buy a ninja man. It's a commuter and it's fun to ride. If you want to haul buns don't buy a navi...
@@badfish2002 I agree. My first bike was an 04 350 ninja yellow and purple lol. Bought if from my neighbor for 300 bucks with 400 miles on it. Said he couldn’t get it to run right. Rebuilt the carb and rode that thing around so much until it got wrecked.
No way you can get to 62mph on a stock bike. The spark limiter comes in early to mid 50s. Unless you removed the limiter
@@pleasedontwatchthese9593 first thing I did. Didn’t few minor upgrades as well.
My navi is a 2022 , 2,800 miles on it , you will never get 110 miles on a tank of gas. My last long round trip was 50 miles and cruised at mostly 45 mph. Flat land . i ran out of gas at 50 miles and turned on reserve. i do carry a 1qt. Gas container + i have a 5 gal gas can at home to avoid going to the gas station all the time.
Fair enough. I knew before going into this that the fuel eco was great. The reason I asked Tim (the owner of this one) was to get his real world numbers. As Honda claims the 110mpg with a 0.9 gallon tank. typically the reserve would be approximately 10% of the tank capacity.
I appreciate your feedback. The more data the more accurate those numbers would be.
Thanks for your comment.
I fell like my Navi gets about 50 miles in before I go fill up. I have not gotten it empty so it’s just a guess.
chevere, me voy a comprar una a fin de año.
Very cool!
I’m saving for one, can’t wait because in motorcycle my daily commute is 15-20 minutes and by public transport is almost 1 hour and a half so I need it desperately lol
The time savings alone is worth this. These are great!
nice
You can push down on the foot brake and it starts the same way
Correct
You were laughing and seemed to be enjoying yourself on it. Thats the whole point of a bike, street or dirt.
Oh absolutely, It’s a blast.
I bought one yesterday "for my wife" of course. It's quite possibly the most fun bike I've ever ridden.
@@MrJudohead right. I love the mini motors for that reason! They’re so fun to ride! Thanks for your perspective brother. Have an excellent day!
Been thinking about buying this as my first bike in half blind so
They’re awesome!!
we get screwed in Manitoba with our public insurance monopoly - Im looking at $650 a year to insure a Navi here, (and thats after a 21% discount based on my driving record). But they are pretty darn fun!
This is the bike I would love to take for the motorcycle endorsement tests. Lightweight, no clutch, just focus on riding. Same price as one of those Amazon bikes that require further assembly & mods. The endorsement tests are 100% motorcycle handling; stalling or anything heavy will be penalized against you
Depending on location, these will not work for your M test (M2 exit) as you need to get to highway speeds.
Yet for your M2 (M1 exit) test this would work great. Yet I prefer the course method.
@@SLIGHT_ I’m in Washington, USA. The riding tests are all parking lot stuff and we only got the 1 M class endorsement for all bikes
@@kevinmanan1304 AWESOME!!! then this would be great!
Hi friend, When you ride the Honda Navi you have to keep the choke all way up, and don’t forget the left side button of the gas position, you have to keep it all way down is on, up is reserved and left is off for storage when you don’t use the Navi for long time.
Thanks!
Great information on the reserve. I did cover that but the wind ruined the audio unfortunately.
Still a fun little bike. Thanks for the comment.
@@SLIGHT_ yes it’s a fun mini bike, I have the same one and color, I wish it come with rear disk brakes and at least a 150cc engine, I use mine for moto camping, a lot of storage space in the box.
@@giovanny4316yeah I’m with you on the brakes. Yet I understand the cost effectiveness of the drums.
Motor camping… this would be great for that!
@@giovanny4316its basicly a scooter frame with plastic to cover up the front. Not saying thats bad or anything but thats how scooter power are. Riding a Grom will feel like a rocket but you will need to learn shifting. Overall great ride for someone that wanna just use it to go to work.
@@NatsumeKonno yes I know it’s a scooter, still fun to ride , I have the mini bike collection, grom, Honda trail, monkey, and the super cub 125 , just wanted to add the Honda navi, cheers
Im 21 over here in the UK, just passed my CBT and was bought a 50CC moped to ride (first road vehicle ever lol), i am allowed to ride up to a 125 but have not been trained on clutch and gears, was thinking of getting this bike in a years time when im used to the road more and then i can look at getting my full license on a 600 a year after that just before my CBT expires, would you recommend this for someone who only rides a 50CC and wants to slowly progress his way up to the cool bikes?
Might be worth saying as well ill only be using it to get to and from work 5 times a week
Absolutely, it is a great starter bike! Plus having that glove box is so nice! Also, Not having a clutch makes this extremely easy to ride. It allows anyone that has never ridden before to easily handle this.
The front brake is for the front only the foot brake operates both the parking brake is for the back brake only
Agreed, thanks for the clarification
I’m looking something to commute to work, I’d like to buy a car but in the current market I can’t afford a car. I’ve never ridden a motorcycle before do you think this would be a good alternative? I don’t have to take any highways or interstates to work, just city and backroads
Depends on the backroads. The Navi is excellent in the city.
Check out @LifeOfBurch he has key upgrades to make the Navi more suitable for daily riding. (Cvt upgrades etc)
Note: links to the videos are going in this videos description

@@SLIGHT_the backroads are almost fully paved except for about a quarter mile stretch of gravel. This thing is probably the cheapest thing you can buy on the market but I also want to set aside money for good riding gear
@@RomanticDrip69 it’s more of a scooter then a motorcycle, yet if you’ve never ridden before this will give you the basics. They’re extremely easy to ride and will give you confidence with control. I know of a few people that have never ridden before and find the Navi extremely approachable.
Back roads? What is the speed? That is the concern I meant.
Yes do it!
how much do u weigh? i wonder wha top speed i would get im 185 lbs
165
Looks like you were riding with the bike choked the whole time. Not that it’s a speed demon, but you’d notice a difference if you turned off the choke when it was warmed up.
Agreed. Unfortunately due to temperature it was being difficult. I’d love to test it again when it wasn’t so cold.
Great observation though. Great eye. ;)
Does it require a motorcycle endorsement to ride this? Or is it just like a ruckus 50cc where u just need a class c license to operate it on public roads?
As it’s a 109cc in Canada you need your M endorsement. (M1,M2 or M)
@@SLIGHT_ how the cops gonna know what cc’s it is? The engine is the exact same as the ruckus
@@Smodleethey don’t bug me in Ontario
It gutless it gutless look dude some people can't afford a really fast bike or have anyone co sign for them
No shade brother, it’s exactly as it should be. As stated in the video I would absolutely buy this bike for my son, it’s a great machine.
As for affordability… even if you can afford a “fast” bike… doesn’t mean you should buy it. I’d argue I have much more fun on “slower bikes” than “fast bikes”… I’m also not alone in that statement. Reason why the Grom market is so huge.
Sorry if you misunderstood my reaction to this. Thanks for watching.
@@SLIGHT_ thank you for your amazing video thank you in im sorry if my comment was a lil loud 😞
@@LarryTait-zv3uv not at all dude. Thanks for the comment. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
@@SLIGHT_ I'm saving up right now for one I been working very hard on my credit in im looking at the end of year that's when I'm going to get one
Im always beating cars off the light, im not even try which is funny.
