Malik has the bigger voice, but Bryan's falsetto kept him from falling behind. Most singers would piss their pants in the face of Malik's voice, but Bryan kept his cool.

I just have to say it. I am pretty sure that this is by far the best duet I have ever seen either in a musical competition, or amongst the professional musical fields. This performance can change your perception and understanding about music and art in general! I am so grateful that the Internet gives me the opportunity to see and hear such masterpieces!

There's a sort of Obi-Wan - Skywalker thing with these two. I love the fact that, in spite of being competitors, each tried to make the other better. I'm also certain this is the only battle where a singer hasn't thought "damn he's killing it, I'm going to lose now!" about the other. I don't care what the judges ruled, this was the best performance of the series by an astronomic margin!
