    I spend my birthday in November at Glenwood Hot Springs. Take a train from Denver or drive. I stay at the Lodge and every trip is fabulous, including the food included with the Hotel stay.

    The picture showing 4x4 rock crawling to get to Strawberry Park was ridiculous. The road looks nothing like that. You are required to have 4wd in winter, but that is for icy conditions. It is a graded road that anything can drive in the summer.

    You definitely forgot to mention Orvis Hot Springs on high way 550 just north of Ouray Colorado

      It's true, Orvis Hot Springs is a great place to visit in Colorado. Thanks for the recommendation!

      Is orvis hotsprings really crowded? Water temp?

    • @HashtagColoradoLife
      @HashtagColoradoLife  Před 11 měsíci

      @@vickifox1837 It depends on when you go to Orvis Hot Springs, but generally it's not crowded. Since it's a clothing-optional hot springs resort. The water temp span from 98 to 112 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Recommendations for family of 6. Kids Ages 15,14,11 and 10 love the water

      Any hot springs in the state for the most part would be great for an entire family. There are a few "clothing optional adult only hot springs", but they are few and in secluded places. I would recommend hitting a hot springs that is within a town as it makes eating and lodging a lot easier.. also there will often be more activities besides water and things to do in the towns. Salida hot springs, Glenwood Springs or Ouray hot springs would be my suggestions. Upside of Salida and Glenwood would be the additional river activities to do there too as the Arkansas and Colorado Rivers flow thru those two towns respectively.

      @@mannyramirez3434 Hmmm yea the summer season is when they have those kid areas and lazy river open 7 days a week. I would think it being May they would have those open already!! Glad you are enjoying it otherwise.

I passed out in the hottest pool with the noodles. for like 5 hours. Sou vided my insides. almost died. I cant blame anybody but myself since we literally sign our lifes away. Cheers. Be safe folks. I love you all.

    What is an "Adult Relaxation Terrace" mean? Alcohol? smoking? clothing optional?

      Are you sure creekside is permanently closed? The website indicated otherwise. We have seen it closed temporarily or when it is icy.

    Idea for a video, trips for the less mobile, or those with low stamina, trying to find places to see for those less able is not as easy.

    • @HashtagColoradoLife
      @HashtagColoradoLife  Před rokem

      This is true. Colorado makes it harder to find things to do or hot springs to visit that's for the less mobile visitors. Great suggestion!

    Now, I will take exception with your review of Princeton Springs. I have enjoyed so many of the Hot Springs in Colorado and found Princeton my least favorite. Their entrance into the large pool, form the Ladies Locker Room is a HUGE step down and when I was in in 60s didn't care for it then, nor 10 yrs. later. It is not a safe entry for Senior Ladies. The uneven temperatures of the two pools is a real issue. Not a favorite. Truth. love you videos.

      Yes, the historic bath house is a much older construction and architecture which can make it unsafe in places. But the newly built and remodeled Mt Princeton Hot Springs is much cleaner, bigger, and safer for sure!
