Attention in the Pits Episode 103: Rachelle Thibert

How’s this for a story… Before she ever started racing Rachelle Thibert saw this Chevy II at a drag race and knew she had to have it!
The car belonged to Gene Bichlmeier and after years of teasing and convincing he sold Rachelle the car. He taught her how to tune it and drive it and it still goes rounds!
And that’s why you go out into the pits!

I met her briefly at Gainesville, 2022. She also races a 305 Malibu in Stock. She does well in both cars. Her dad races a 305 Malibu as well. Great racers.

Joe you've done a lot of attention in the pits but I like this one the best for the reason is that woman is a 4 speed woman to the core I can tell that car is made for that woman that is fantastic I hope she's going to be at Pomona this weekend because I want to see that car run what a great story there Joe thank you .
