What I love about Kaiserreich is how messy the morality is. It really fits with the WWI theme. WWI had no real "good guy", unlike WWII where the Axis were simply SO BAD that ANYONE facing off against them was the "good guy" by comparison. Everyone was out for something, to expand their empires and screw over their enemies, and that led to thousands of lives being lost. And that confused, gray morality carries over into the events of the game. Who's in the right and who's in the wrong is really up to the player, and I really like that.
Well, up to the player and the RNG. A devolutionist UoB is a whole lot different from Mosley going full Airstrip One.

Peace Everlasting. In 1920 many may think that the Weltkreig placed German in the sun, and many may think that none can challenge the might of the Kaiserreich.
War Neverending...1940. Beset on all sides the Kaiserreich is in a world with little friends and many enemies...far too many enemies...
Sometimes enemies within the glorious Kaiserreich herself....
Even today, when people who are not French or did not live through the Occupation look at photos of German soldiers marching down the Champs Élysées or of Gothic-lettered German signposts outside the great landmarks of Paris, they can still feel a slight shock of disbelief. The scenes look not just unreal, but almost deliberately surreal, as if the unexpected conjunction of German and French, French and German, was the result of a Dada prank and not the sober record of history. This shock is merely a distant echo of what the French underwent in 1940: seeing a familiar landscape transformed by the addition of the unfamiliar, living among everyday sights suddenly made bizarre, no longer feeling at home in places they had known all their lives.

The "gothic" (Fraktur) letters were actually banned by the Nazis during the war, they preferred Antiqua letters. So it's quite ironic that they have become a symbol for Nazi Germany.

The 1930s were a shock to the German core system of belief. The idea of German exceptionalism that emerged after 1919 had already begun to fade in the minds of experts in the late 1920s but for the public, the American stock market crash was only another sign of German exceptionalism. The only potential rival had fallen economically and it's old rivals appeared to be broken forever more.
It took the re-emergence of hard liners to command in the Union of Britain and the Commune of France, with their words dripping in vengeance and bile to shock the German public, combined with the distance growing between Germany and Austria-Hungary and growing Russian fears in the east alongside the troubles in Belarus and Ukraine.
All these factors combined into a perfect storm that saw a slow shift away from the German exceptionalism and into a new European brotherhood. Mitteleuropa slowly changing from a pure German economic domination of the continent, into a truly unifying force, finally securing the foundations of the Reichspakt into a more united force, these moves, although a sharp departure for many and would have many stumbles over the next decade, it would pay dividends in the dark days of the 1940s, cementing a European-wide alliance and helping at last to begin bridging the long divide between the old Central Powers and Entente forces before their final combined triumph in 1948 and the great revival of a new age of European co-operation

(Continuing from my part 1) Germany oh how far you have fallen from being a world juggernaut to a nation now divided. A nation that helped me grow with my youth a nation that helped mold me and a nation that I would fight and if die for. The Second Weltkreig was a war never seen before and with it came a new kind of nightmare a nightmare of Syndicalism. Lets hope that with time the New World will come from across the waves with all her power and might and come to the rescue and the reserection of the old one.

Unless your concept of soon is one week from now when the truck comes back, that doesn't make much sense. You still think I'll get the spongebob popsicle, but the truck just drove past our house, and we'd have to go like four blocks away to get to the park (assuming that's where the ice cream man stopped).

Is that the wreck of an american Sherman tank in the backround (lower left hand corner). If the C.S.A. is involved in the European war, then a German victory is pretty much impossible.
It's probably more possible than you'd think since the Second American Civil War is incredibly devastating and Germany in the Kaiserreich timeline does have much more resources available to them. A lot of the times while I play the Second World War starts long before the Civil War ends.
@@DominionSorcerer It depends, as Feds the war ends in 1938, 1939-40's for other factions, being able to launch a decapitation strike on the Syndicalists is an amazing advantage, they are very weak early on, pushovers you might say, but once they are entrenched they are hard to beat, the only way to beat the Syndicalists is to strike fast and hard, time is of the essence in Kaiserreich, the only winning move is to be able to move first, and move wisely.
