- Swimming at Konyaalti Beach in Antalya, Turkey. Konyaaltı Beach is one of the two main beaches, the other being Lara Beach.
The beach is located on the western side of the Antalya city and stretches for 13 km primarily composed of fine pebbles, but also has some sand. The water is beautifully clear. Konyaaltı Beach has "Blue Flag" status, which confirms the good water quality. It is bound inwards by the beach park and numerous bars, cafes, nightclubs and hotels. The 'Aqualand' waterpark along Dumlupınar Bulvarı is the other border in Antalya city. - wikipedia-

Nice video. We were there May 2022 and had a lunch at that restaurant with great view. Water was not very warm in May, though we saw some people were swimming. I guess September is a better time to visit. Hopefully, we will go there in September sometime in the future.

Hi, if you are coming from the Old Town, take the old tram, the last station is immediately above the beach, so you can walk 3 mins to reach it. Enjoy!

Hi, thank you! Yes, it is fine. You might expect some rain in March. Temperature will be between 18 degrees Celsius during the day and 11 at night.

Do you like konyaalti beach more than Side?
Hi, the end of May is great for swimming. Both are nice, Konyaalti Beach is made of pebbles while Side is Sandy. Konyaalti is very close to Antalya city center and Kaleiçi the old town, while from Side to Antalya center it is around 1 hour 20 mins ride. Both they have promenades and plenty of restaurants.

Do you know the price for 2 sunbeds and an unbrella at these beach clubs? Are they free if you eat there?
Hi, if you ask now, they say no idea, but I expect it between 300 and 500 Turkisk Lira per person depending on the club. No, dining in a restaurant will not grant you a free sunbed.

Is it still hot in October in konyaalti?
Hi Liam, it's not hot in October in Konyaalti. In fact, the weather is very nice around 27°C and you can swim until mid October.
How is the weather there Mid to late October?
It should be nice. Last year we were able to swim in the sea until 27 October. Hope it will be the same this year. We will be posting a video about Antalya in October hopefully this Sunday. Stay tuned!
