I never liked the original but Dimash’s arrangement is different and I actually like this one a lot. Love the flute in the beginning, the loneliness tone in first phrase, the desperation tone in second, the anger tone in third and finally the surrender tone at the end. He changes a two dimensional song into a journey.

Henri is one of those rare people who actually look really cute when they cry. That was sweet. Although, I was surprised you did not have tissue handy. What an oversight! I hope you won't be caught like that again. I love this performance and the fact that it wasn't a part of the competition made it more enjoyable. This was one of my favorite reactions, Sabina. Even I have seen multiple times this rendition of Dimash, I have cried along with Henri. Thank you for sharing your emotions with us! I think this is the most important thing that Dimash does, not the unearthly vocals, but the feelings that he wake up in people when they are listening to him. Good bless you both! @@zvolencan1 the songs originator Lionel Richie and his promoters banned it. my take on it was Dimash's version blew Richies by a long way and i feel that they knew it and basically a little jealously on their part
@@dakotaconners107 Not true. If Dimash is not able to sing this again it is not because of jealousy. It is more likely because Singer is know to not get copyright permission to use a song on the show creating an issue with the copyright holder of the song. This has happened with them and the songs by Queen too. Lionel Ritchie is not the jealous type, and always appreciates someone else singing his songs.
@@maryE05 this probably part of it however; if you saw the other songs Dimash sang in the singer, such as a tribute to MJ and All By Myself, which require the same copyright rules were never challenged. another thing about the jealousy interpretation is another song Dimash sang was OPERA 2 and Vitas banned Dimash from singing that song. so i tend to believe there was a hint of jealousy on their part

Definitely, one of the TOP 3 interpretations. Not only singing. It was a full performance.
The other two are, in my opinion, "Adagio" (Lara Fabian congratulated Dimash for the performance in The Singer 2017, chapter 6), another full performance, and "Across Endless Dimensions". Near, by a narrow margin, are "Ogni Pietra", "Daybreak" (in Bastau), and the "Queen Medley" with the Super Vocal Boys.
Always taking into account that it's very difficult to choose the best of Dimash. Almost everything is "best" with him.
