In this video tutorial, I show you how to balance your Canon EOS M50 in the DJI Ronin SC. In this video, I am using the 15-45 mm kit lens. If this is your first time balancing a Ronin SC gimbal I offer up some tips to help you balance your camera quickly and easily. If you are balancing other smaller cameras or lenses such as the Sony a7 III or Sony a6400 you can still follow along as the technics are the same.

No other video, including the one from DJI, makes any mention of the riser plate for smaller, lighter cameras. I was about to pull all my hair out... wait, I'm friggin bald... but you get me. Thank you a lot.

I just bought a Ronin SC and it arrived yesterday. Today it completely stopped working. The app cant find it, the motors do nothing with the joystick. Totally shut out. Anyone have this issue. DJI's customer service is not responding and there is no live chat support for the Ronin, and Amazon is not taking responsibility saying it was purchased from a third party. Any help, anyone???
I’m still so lost
I've watched this so many times and I am still unable to get the roll axis to balance correctly. I get it to where it is stable with the motors off, but once the motors are awake, the balance test will always fail the roll axis, both other axises are excellent according to the test. Please help!
ive had mine for 3 weeks and I am ready to throw it in the ocean 🤬 I am seriously NOT technically minded so what was I thinking getting something that I have to fiddle around with?! Bloody sales staff said it was Easy! I feel like showing them a video on me trying to figure it out! Stupid thing after 3 weeks is still not balanced, your video has made all the sense but I am still trying to balance it as I have a Rode speaker with dead cat on it and it doesn't like balancing with that attached. does your ronin make sounds? Not loud but does it make some?
anyone else’s shake vigorously the first couple times? also i have my tilt maxed out on my m50 with kit lens, i’m scared with any additional weight i won’t be able to adjust it enough?
My SC is not controlling my M50. Seems like this is a recurring problem. Can you advise??

This is by far the best SC balancing video. I have balanced 3 lenses using this vid and this last 1, 11-22mm canon EF-M, just took me 2 minutes and was perfectly balanced 1st try. THANK YOU

u really saved my life!! i have been figured like 2hours until saw your video! thanks! so the tips is adjust the 1st axis as face up, n bottom axis face front, then can balanced the position
A6400 cheatsheet for users with standard 16-50 Power Zoom lens it ships with. These are the settings after finally working it out! The camera is borderline too light for this gimble so using the spacer is necessary to achieve true balance.
