Zack's character is so stupid, it makes me lmfao. i just love him
Zach's character is stupid, but he is a cool dude. The show's writers messed up on him, one of their few mistakes.
Anu's character wasn't the least bit likeable. She sees her ex-boyfriend and then asks Raj to trust her. But the writers made Raj desperate and the permanent outsider who never managed to get a permanent girlfriend much less get married. That really messed things up. And Leonard was continually in simp-mode with Penny. He loved her, but she controlled him from day one and either he couldn't see it or didn't want to. They had a decent chemistry onscreen (and offscreen for a time) but the writers should have moved in a different direction, IMO.
Season 1 had so much potential for ways the show could have gone. My love of the show really still all comes from what could have been. I saw the pilot 3 times before I saw any other episodes, so I was always a Penny/Sheldon shipper. It was so weird to see the hard shift to siblings in S3. Never really cared about the plot after that, it was clearly a show aimed at other people.

Zach doesn't know when to shut up. They all knew that Zach and Penny were an item at one time. Leonard hit the nail on the head when he said Penny would get to choose what happens to her body, but Leonard cannot. Good ol double standard in reverse.
Zach was always one of the funniest characters next to Stewart. They ruined Raj and made him desperate and sad to watch. Why didn't they step up and help with the comic book store? The show really sucked by this point.
It would have been nice to see them help Stewart with the comic book store, especially Raj.

Isabel = felt ashamed of her work
Claire= felt inscure and vain

I liked Anu and it really sucks that her and Raj didn't have a longer relationship. Everyone else including Stewart had someone at the end and it blew that Raj didn't.
Anu was never more than window dressing, a prop designed to make us actually care about Raj.
I have always cared about Raj (from S01EP01) and still wish he and Emily had not break up.
Or there was that Claire girl, but the writers wrote her off as well

Girl strings guy along for ten years then finally marries him.
Then girl tells him she won't have his child.
Then girl tells guy he can't have a child with anyone else either.
Finally guy realises his place and submits to her will.
What would you prefer? Woman is obligated to have children, even if she doesn't want to?

I felt the same way. Also the finale was a disappointment by not including some sort of ark where Penny and Leonard agree to have kids together. In reality I think couples talk about kids much earlier and way more often.

Many people Criticize penny and Leonard relationship.
But, I myself think it's pretty good. Although I Agree penny is a little selfish, this episode is just the example how the relation with leonard is being good for her. It's slowly making her more open to listen to him, and less selfish, while also making her less and lesser resistent to commitment, since we all know it is an issue for her, she is scared of responsabilities, and was always like that. but specially in this last season, she shows development in this matter, even finishing it expecting a baby.
On the other hand, thanks to his relationship to her, leonard has become more self-aware and prone to standing up for himself, thing we don't see him doing in the earlier seasons. thing that he wouldn't have with priya, since her is more like to stand on his behalf, that would, in the end, only create a confort zone around leonard, not allowing for him to mature in this matter.
So, a couple who both help each other to grow up and become better? If that's not a good relationship, I don't know what it is...

Many people argue that Leonard Lenny relationship is better than Ross/Rachel. Both the relationships are toxic, but I think Ross/Rachel relationship is better because in that both if them are at fault many times. They were imperfectly perfect for each other. But here Leonard is so much better than Penny. He has compromised more in the relationship than Penny. He always gives in and Penny rarely shows her soft side to him. So that's my opinion, not trying to impose it on anyone else.

😀 I thought all fans liked Penny. It was great to know that many people thought she was controlling. Leonard paid for her, bought her a car. She decided to get rid of his things without even asking him. She was real bully in some episodes. But her character is very realistic. There are many Pennies in real life.
I really wanted Raj and Anu. I mean with only one episode left, the show could have let Raj go to London. He still could have made it to Stockholm for the finale.

They should have ended TBBT in season 8.
I liked Anu's character from day 1. But this show had terrible writing. At the end, Penny told Leomard her husband he had no say in whether she had a child (a fundamental conversation before marriage), so now she supposes she has no say on if he has a child with another family (say what?).What hot garbage messaging is that!! I never liked them as a couple.

Why are they forcing raj with anu?
Because his role in the show was the only thing it hadn't wrapped up by the end of the last season. And the writers were clearly hoping for that season to be the last. Unfortunately, they got an order to fill 22 half hours of time with no ideas how, so they went into the writing room, threw whatever they had against the wall and came up with the season based on what didn't stick.
