Ruth your podcast today was just so needed to refresh my soul! I'm most definitely praying for your dear, sweet dad. Your devotion at the end was just so timely for me, as I'm facing being let go from my work because I'm not willing to work on Sunday mornings. The hymn was so sweet, and it was a good reminder to have a little perspective. I may not have a job but I too can worship my Savior openly, which is a blessing that many are literally giving their lives for. Thank you for the encouragement!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

A tip I’ve found really helpful for choosing contrasting colours is to take a photo of your various options as pairs, then edit the photo to black and white. If there’s a good contrast it’s okay, if not it won’t work. 😊

I watch from Birmingham, Alabama and I love Yorkshire biscuit tea. I also like their toast and jam tea. You can count me among the people who like strong tea.

I wasn’t sure on the pattern of the aran jumper, but seeing it on the needles it is gorgeous 😻. One of those that the photo doesn’t do it justice.

You asked what viewers were doing - it's my Granddaughters 1st birthday this month, her parents have picked a theme of 'Under The Sea' for her party. So i've been knitting and crocheting fish, a crab and a jelly fish. I enjoy trying to do different things, but does sound a little mad. Sending my best wishes to your Dad for a speedy recovery x

Absolutely lovely seeing you again Ruth makes me personally feel fantastic,I’m still at the arran cardigan for my wee brother so was cracking on with it while watching you. Praying for your dad. My dad kept going in and out of the hospital with diverticulitis and Afib. During his last stay, he had to get surgery to remove the infected part of his colon. He has an iliiostomy bag, and he gets the CAT scan next week to make sure nothing is leaking. If that's clear, he gets surgery to close up the holes.
I am also on holidays with my daughter but I don’t really know how you manage so many stitches! I hope your dad will recover soon ❤

Another great vlog Ruth…your shawls are just beautiful….I bought the Ruth shawl pattern, but as a pensioner I don’t have a lot of hand dyed yarn, but will find something nice to have a go at it. I do hope your Dad recovers soon and is home safe with your Mum….take care x x x 🥰

I have had the Yorkshire Biscuits tea as we can get it here in Canada and its delightful. Like you I like weak tea. I dip my tea bag in until the water changes colour and then I have my tea. lol. There are teas I take stronger, Irish & Scottish breakfast teas and chai teas.

Calendula and coreopsis are plants with yellow and light orange flowers. Calendula is also used for itching and healing creams.

Might take me a wee while to do it but its started. Abd I can only do it in daylight.
While watching I cast on a blanket for a friend. She is going for stem cell treatment in September. The plan is to pray for her healing and that she would be able to witness to the people around her at the hospital. ❤

I learnt the Clasped Weft join from Jen Arnold-Culliford here on CZcams, her tutorials are very clear and easy to follow, Hope this helps, Helen 😊

Anyone who feels that you are “shoving religion down their throat” during your podcast has a lot more serious problem than finding a knitting podcast they like. This person definitely needs our prayers. Keep doing what HE leads you to do with the platform HE has given you.
