@Ansab Ali okay
To some that may be worse than death by lethal injection.

If you think about it, many of the most famous serial killers are actually failures, because they were caught and we know who they were. The truly best serial killer would be someone who was never known for what they really were.
..... Jack the ripper..... The zodiac..... The two most popular
I agree with you.
In the business of serial killers, anonymity is the best tool, fame only represents failure, Dexter knows well.
Prolific vs famous vs killer...
Some people do it for the publicity too. Thereâs a need to be known and taunting. The end goal is to get caught because they want everyone to know about them.

Carl Panzram had a really messed up childhood too. Lots of people do, and they donât become killers, but I recommend looking into it if youâre a true crime âfanâ. He had brain injury after brain injury including one from his father.
You are right. Have you seen his writing? It's the most phenomenal things I've ever seen for a person who had such a horrific life and taght his self to read and write

I've heard of most of these and I would wager that anyone who is even moderately into true crime would have at least heard of Panzram, Lopez, and Hansen since they're somewhat unique.
Yeah, many of these have been discussed on several true crime channels & podcasts
Panzram is the only one of them with a chance of being heard of by the ordinary guy

In Latin America, it is way too common to name your kid JosĂ© or MarĂa as a 1st name. Because itâs so common, people usually refer to their middle name, 1st & middle name combined, or nickname instead, making their 1st name useless. At work, I know guys named Mario, Luis, Julio, Trinidad & Guadalupe, and it turns out that all of those guys are going by their middle name, because their 1st name is actually JosĂ©. Even my brother in law goes by Tito and his name is also JosĂ©. Titoâs step daughter goes by Fernanda which is her middle name, but her 1st name is MarĂa. Why would you give a kid a 1st name that most people have and you have no intention of using? Itâs dumbfounding.
@@AntonXul. Ok
@@AntonXul Thanks for the honesty bro.
Do you know why so many hispanic people have like 7 names?
@@hideousruin
Itâs actually mostly 4 names. First name, middle name, fatherâs surname, motherâs surname. For example JosĂ© Luis GarcĂa MartĂnez. JosĂ© is the first name, Luis is the middle name, GarcĂa is the fatherâs surname, MartĂnez is the motherâs surname. This hypothetical personâs name would probably be shortened to just Luis GarcĂa.

Carl Panzram brings a whole new meaning to "what would you do with a drunken sailor".
Thankfully not as scary when you think of them having oven mitts for hands.
In Spanish the difference between the articles determined as feminine or masculine differs by being:
male: el,los
Feminine: la, las
Therefore in the case of the women Mexican serial killers it's written:
"Las Poquianchis", which would mean something like "the skinny ones"
Not "Los poquianchis", which is a male article
And that's it for our Mexican serial killer class, Hasta la vista.

l live in B.C. Willie Picton notorious for what he did. He supposedly fed people who attended his parties "Picton Farms Sausage" which contained his victim's in the mix.
Potentially. They don't know. It's most likely, but they don't know. He also potentially used a processing plant to dispose of bodies, and this plant made gelatin, and sold product all over canada.
Probably should've mentioned how Robert pickton fed his victims to his unsuspecting friends
Wow as someone who loves watching True Crime docs n stories i was very surprised there were a bunch on this list I never heard of before & now I definitely wanna look them up! I found this quite interesting! ..Thanks! đ
I actually have heard of Harrison Graham, he was a case study for my Mind of Serial Killers class in college. We discussed about whether the judge was wrong or right to throw out his insanity plea.
Your right I havenât heard about any of them, thatâs why I can look them up
Las Poquianchis are very famous in Mexico, they even have a movie with the same name.
Robert Hansen & Pickton are definitely worth looking into
Carl Panzram and Peter KĂŒrten , were there in the video ' scary last words of death row prisoner ' with the exact same animations! Great work infographic show, these minute details is what makes this channel so good

I have to admit to finding Carl Panzrams final words something to remember. And as for Bella Kiss' escape.... can't fault him. Fun fact: there was a several year period in the mid 80's where in the "skid row" area of Los Angeles there were at least 3 serial killers active at the same time.
Actually there was a sighting of Bella Kiss in 1932. The last known sighting occurred in New York City in 1932. In that year, homicide detective Henry Oswald was certain he had observed Kiss emerging from the New York City Subway at Times Square, Manhattan.
Wowww itâs crazy how Kurten was caught out.. esp having his head on display in a Ripleys museum!! Thatâs nuts..

I've heard of many of these, thanks to the Killer Documentaries channel.
Unfortunately my uncleâs brother was a victim of a nurse serial killer. He was in a bad car accident and the nurse was assigned to him and sadly he was one of the victims who were purposely overdosed with insulin. The serial killer kept going to different hospitals and continued to get away with it until people finally caught on but he killed quite a few people sadly. I think about 40? His name is Charles Cullen. He is actually starred in a movie called The Good Nurse.
Iâm so sorry to hear that. I actually watched that movie recently and itâs incredible how he was able to get away with it for so long :(
I remember seeing a documentary about Schafer on TV once. Also, I remember mentioning Peter Kurten in a report I did about serial killers once.
Them: youâve never heard of these killers
The police that helped the case for one đ€Š
Edmund Kemper was also called the co-ed killer... John Norman Collins was called the Michigan murderer, The coed killer, The Ypsilanti Killer, and The Ypsilanti Ripper.
Whats even more gruesome about Bela Kiss that he didn't mention, is that he was actually trying to pickle those bodies in the drums.
My mom was working at a photo processing place in MI when the co-ed killer was active. She developed some of the crime scene photos. Police told she couldn't tell anybody about them at the time.
Taunting the executioner before your own death sentence is passed it either the hardest thing of all time or proof of insanity
At that stage it cannot really get worse anyway thou. Except perhaps if the executioner retaliate by shortening the rope so there is no neck snap but slow suffocation instead.
Actually The Co-Ed Killer turn himself in after killing his mother and one of her friends
I think this is another serial killer, not Kemper.
The casual criminalist did a video on #6. It was very interesting and added a lot of detail to the crimes and how the police handled it
This video is the most comforting thing today.
So... Pickton didn't exactly live in a "small town in Canada". He lived in Port Coquitlam, where I grew up. Port Coquitlam is basically a suburb of Vancouver. Best part of this whole story is, my parent's hid every scrap of news from me, so I had no idea we lived near a serial killer until I was 23 đ¶
Yes I wanted this for a while

Recently picked up mindhunter. One of the first serial killers John Douglas spoke to was Charles Davis Jr, he was an ambulance driver who would strangle women, then make an anonymous call to confess, he would proceed to respond to the call in his ambulance putting his own victim on the stretcher. Thereâs very little information about him in the internet.
i think the most famous ones, were the ones who lasted for a long time, although they were arrested eventually, they were on the loosse for years on end
