awesome, this is most perfect gimbal that i have seen till now.
Always liked your video ❤️❤️keep it up 💯
Ohh the memory sliders are a neat trick. Very clever designing.
Wow, it's the best gimbal for Feiyutech! I am happy to check your video before buying. The features are really useful.
Always like your videos and contents.
like always great video 😉I just got this gimbal in my studio to record a few shots from a short distance, I believe it will do the job :P
Were you able to operate the main know and the multi-function knob (on the handlebar) with separate functions? I can only get them to do the same (mirror each other)
I like the remote control handle.
Just got mine today, think it will be perfect for me, thank you for the review :)
How is the gimbal working for you a year later?
Hey Mark,
Nice review. I have the Ronin RS2. Would this be an addition and/or upgrade to RS2? I like the detachable wireless remote handle and also the two focus wheels. I use the focus motors on the variable ND filters which is great at times.
Also wanted to know if the Scorp Pro has AI motion detection feature like the new Kickstarter Qing Pro? And how’s the weight? It’s more heavy than my old Ronin S (gave to my young nephew as a hand me down and he loves it but he’s more fit and stronger). I use a Peak Design strap to hold it when I shoot all day but wondering if this will be the case.
Lastly, new sub here. Hope to learn from you and your video content creation!
wow what an explanation awesome man going to buy it tomorrow was planning to buy for almost a month just had a confusion of going to dji or some other brand but luckily it is available in india.
Thank you
hi friend, thanks for the video, one question: its the compatibl for the canon rebel t100? sorry my english, im from Chile
muito bom seu video obrigado pelo esclarecimento vou comprar um para mim amanha xau
I'm having a lot of problema balancing it. I'm usint the Focus Motor and a Tilta Mirage Mattebox but the roll axis just don't get balanced. Any advices??
Does anyone know if you can use the case for the pro for the Feiyuteck Scorp C model ?
I bought it without his bag and I would like to buy it but is it possible to save his back to the bag balanced or do we need to change it to the original position?
Exchange rates , for some strange reason, never work for electronic equipment. The gimbal costs 659 dollars on Feiyu's website but it doesn't cost £487 in the UK as it should. It costs £649 down from its RPP price of £699 on Amazon UK...
Okay. if you buy from their website there will be some exchange rate but I wouldn't do that. If you have any problem, if there is any reason to return the gimbal then it's far safer and hassle free to buy from Amazon UK.
Can the gimbal control the electrical Sony PZ lenses (18-105 PZ) (zoom function)?
Hi! Please tell me, what is the diameter of the arri rosette mount on this steadicam?
Have you tested this gimbal for timelapse shooting with a long exposure (3-6 sec)? Is it stable enough for a long shutter speed?
Can you balance the camera with a 7 inch monitor mounted to the top?
hi friend, thanks for the video, india tamil nadu
I´m really have a doubt if it´s possible to use Scorp Pro with AX700 Film Camera. is it?
HI! DOES IT WORK FOR A CANON 6D?
I must say I didn't expect much from this gimbal but listening through your explanation made me realise that I could soon upgrade from my very old DJI Ronin-S. Also, if you are ever in Denmark I would love to meet you for a coffee and learn a thing or two from you :)
I’m selling my Ronin S for this!!
Update. My Scorp pro arrives next week!!!
@@theymstudio1387 I’m about to do the same. My Ronin s just doesn’t do the job anymore. Shaky won’t follow always impossible to balance .
@@juys1234 Since my comment, my Score Pro arrived a week or so later. and its been AMAZING!! balances my Z 9 fine! have to Auto-Calibrate from time to time, but doesn't take long! A much better experience than my old Ronin S....AND I personally feel its still better than the new Roning RS3 that recently dropped!
It Work with any camera?
I grabbed this for $300 new at B&H! $350 off!! Hahahhah
What a steal!
The product from the link you posted and the Gimbal you're reviewing in this video, are not the same?
How about Gimbal Cage to this? They don't show it to sell, only that have it!
Thanks for sharing this! Finally I found a review that has some actual useful info on the features and usability of this thing!
Typical gimbal review goes sth like this:
1 min of: WHAAAAAts up everybody welcome to blahblahblah, like and subscribe!
2 mins of message from sponsor
3 mins of shots of the box and manuals
1 min of reading specs from manufacturer's website
2 mins of trying to balance camera
3-5 mins of some crappy b-roll "Look how smOOOOOth it iiiiis"
- the end -
You are not wrong...sadly that's 90 % of Reviews these days.
If it had user-replaceable batteries I would really consider this gimbal, but sadly ... not on my list. I really like my 3 FeiyuTech gimbals.
I have the a2000, and 2 SPG's ... all with removable batteries. I'm not buying anything when the weakest component defines the life of the entire system. I don't care how long people say it lasts and such, when the battery goes .. the gimbal system is toast. It will either be trash or go in for service. It's not pro.
@The TexPat in Saigon,
My 2 cents on this topic: I don’t think the word “pro” has any correlation here with designing internal vs external batteries.
Apple gets billions of dollars selling “iphones with pro name” and last I checked, the battery is internal.
It’s more about if the concern is if the battery management is not well built and dies earlier than stated or there’s some defects from bad QC process, then can it be replaceable. I don’t know that answer as I’ve never owned a Feiyu product but love their innovation.
Having said that, I’m curious if it is a simple soldering job to swap out the battery when it dies or is a defect. I saw how the technicians took out the old batteries from my iphones with ease. It just doesn’t last as long as they’re after market batteries and not OEM batteries that has high tolerance standards
I agree. The life and usability of a product shouldn't be determined by a component that is known to have a finite life and can't be replaced by the user. It is forced obsolescence.
yeah i think it's a really stupid oversight at best and a really stupid design flaw at worst, imagine buying a car and the tires and wheels couldnt be replaced lol you just ..have to scrap it out when they wear out or you get a flat, whyyyy would they do this??, i cant even get my head around it tbh, DJI's new one isnt "fully" replaceable, i mean you can buy a new handle but it's not cheap, like a battery is, it gets on my nerves honestly, just put 2 18650 battery in there it'll run ALL day no problem and then it's 8$'s for a new set in a year when it starts losing capacity.
@@seanc8054 More people should be voicing opinions on this. It truly makes no sense. I try to avoid built-in batts in all my gear. Great comment!
nice review! i purchased it also and put it on a steadicam with vest
czcams.com/video/Zi8evp6DDSI/video.html
i tried others, and can say its a great bang for the buck, they should improve the software, also the possibility to use the indexfinger shuttle wheel for anything else than just a few cams focus or zoom (no sonys :-( )
Vest
Sry but the stabilizer look very bad for me...
