Judy! You and I have the exact same eyelids, down to the same problem - left eye with a triple lid, and a sort-of monolid on the right. I've been using eyelid tape to fix my troublesome eye and make them even for years, so I'm so glad to see there's a more long lasting way of keeping them even! Thank you so much for sharing ❤️
Thanks so much for both of your eyelid tutorials Judy! 😃 It's nice to know there are others out there that can 100% relate and understand how it feels and the struggle of trying to even out eyelids/achieve double lids from mono. After 10 years of using all sorts of different tapes/glue and techniques on the stubborn right monolid eye, I applied your technique of putting the tape on the natural crease to retrain it and not too far above it, then leave overnight.. it's fixed and even out my eyes! I was thinking surgery would be the last resort but this is amazinggg 🙏😃 really appreciate you sharing, something simple yet so life changing! Love that you're from NZ too! ❤️🇳🇿
I’m glad I found your video. I have this same issue. Eyelids out of no where and the right eye is the problem Child.
My left eye used to be mono lid but it has become double lids since last year (I don’t know why and how) and it holds up pretty well unless I consume food that is too salty. I am so happy because my right eye has double eyelid and my eyes finally look even now.

@@j.uuuuudy yes!! If I don’t have enough sleep, my eyelid will also fall. So I try to sleep earlier.
A couple of years ago, after flying home on New Year, my right eyelid miraculously doubled and my eye looked bigger. I've been gone so long. I don't know how it happened, but I want to return that look. It changed my face a lot and I was happy, but now my right eyelid hangs down and I don't like it. I really want to figure out what was the matter in order to fix it.
i don't use eyelid tape as i don't think they're applicable to my lid shape but i've always been really curious about them! i never knew they could be used like a treatment. the videos i used to watch before just kinda showed them as a daily wear thing, not something you'd sleep in :o that's honestly pretty cool. i'm glad they work for you!

This is so interesting. My right eye has turned back to mono forawhile now , it’s really stubborn and I have sorta given up on the eyelid tapes lol. Definitely keen on this , will look into the site.
Between your video and Pony's recent one on eyelid tape, I think I'm def going to retry them! I tried it waaay back in the day and just couldn't figure it out but I think I have more skills to do so. And that comment about the second you mention your eye fold out loud cracked me up. So true! My left eye is the uneven one and the rare occasion it's even, I have to make sure not to pay too much attention to it or else it loses the evenness!

Can these be used on hooded lids? Or just mono lids?
@vienen1 my eyes are hooded! My left eye was uneven with a partial crease that was thicker on the inner corner of my eye, if that makes sense? So I used this product to fix it. They have different weeks worth that you can try, so I did the smallest amount of weeks in case I didn't like it, lol.
But it worked nicely!
This is really helpful and interesting. Did you experience any blurred visions with the eye you've had your optifold? Since I experienced it one night and the day after my vision is blurry.
I dont think I have this issue, but its totally interesting and I love watching the video😊😊😊

After using eyelid tape, my eyelid are now stretched and saggy since 3 months…don’t use it, it will ruin your eyes

Can these be used on hooded lids? Or is this for monolids only?
I’m a little scared of using eyelid tapes because I read it may stretch your eyelid skin after using for a long time, but maybe it’s depending of your eye shape and how much you are “forcing” to change.
I have uneven eyelids too and it’s hard to do your eye makeup 😢and sometimes you look like you have crossed eyes and it can be distracting 😅
i think it will all depend to each person! but since you are only wearing it a night i think it should be fine (just my own opinion) but i feel ya! uneven lids is something only you notice T_T

As you can see in my profile picture one eye's upper area is so fat, sometimes it have triple eye lids and other one has double eyelid and its my favorite..
I look so ugly when I use back camera..i love my mirror image ..i feel so insecure when I have to meet a new person.. but the hell..in offline I have never seen anyone who have facing same problem in my entire life time 😢

I REALLY don't think you need anything! Eyes are sisters, not twins. If one's face were perfectly symmetrical it would look very strange like a robot. I know this is something people fixate upon but please, ladies, this is not a real thing! You are no more or less beautiful with that change. You are gorgeous both ways and your eyes are soooo similar that no one else would ever notice that in 100 years unless you pointed it out!
