Love to markk on the organ daykly thanks joan erhard
Mark, what a JOY it is to hear you're playing! Your mastery of jazz chord progressions is stunning! I hope you do more performances on this particular instrument -- it is well balanced. Thank you for your generosity.
I remember watching you perform for the Atlanta Chapter ATOS. I think it was at Bucky Reddish residence. I’m glad I found you on You.
I love this organ and Mark makes it shine! Cheers.
So pleased to see you back here again after so long. You're simply the best!
Beautiful playing as always, Mark!
A real toe tapper, Mark love it , thank you Richard
Always enjoy your performance and incentive registrations. We always enjoy your playing at the San Gabriel Mission. Thanks so much!!!
Well, I found the location of the instrument- Kansas City Music Hall. Gorgeous installation!
Very reminiscent of Raymond Shelly. Beautiful!
Another superb performance, musically and technically, from dear Mark! I have just started watching this video as I write, and hope Mark will reveal the location of this wonderful instrument. Being a 4M, perhaps it is a “Wonder Morton,” which narrows down the possible locales. I know Wurlitzer has usually been considered the Rolls Royce of theatre organs, but this particular instrument, using automotive parlance, could certain be considered a Bentley! Beautiful flues and reeds, for sure, particularly when showcased by such a fine musician.
FYI This is the 4/28 Morton at the Kansas City Music Hall.
Hi from OKC! Awesome, as always!
Wonderful A+A+A+.. have you heard of the organist Lorin Whitney?? Some of his lp's are on CZcams.. he played mainly hymns and was organist for the Haven of Rest Quartet.. and accompanied a lot of "Christian" singers....
!
Super! Loved those songs. Question: what is the name of the song played on the piano at 14:38?
“Everything’s up to Date in Kansas City,” played by yours truly on the piano. It’s from the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical “Oklahoma.”
