Living in Silicon Valley I know many people who simply joined a company and the company went public and they made tons of money. No exceptional talent or brand name school… just happened to be at the right place at the right time. 2) some innate talent. For example sports person, actor etc 3) Geographical arbitrage: Move to a western country like US and save as much as possible. Go back to India rich. I know friends who saved up a million dollars and went back. 8.5 Cr in India goes a lot further than a million dollars in Silicon Valley! 4) Insurance: You got into an accident or a spouse or a parent passed away that had you received a huge compensation from insurance company! It’s probably not the way you would want to get rich, but hey it is one of the ways!

Investing in low risk products but over good time having decent Rate of interest & then Compounding does the work - PPF, EPF, SSA. Making systems and not businesses. As systems would auto run and make money but businesses would need your time and effort - A Solar System over your roof (residential or commercial) that makes electricity cost as zero and earns you some money if Export to Grid is allowed in the region. This is really nice, I think for normal average people in India, the safest and most trusted way is working hard, saving and investing and spending wisely! Hey Chetan sir, I am Pranab, a 11th grader very very very interested in finance. I have watched ton of finance youtubers but your videos are the best. Please continue making videos on these topics. I believe that the best way to make money in investing (atleast on paper assets) is when you use value something and it's market value is less than the price you pay. I have read the book the intelligent investor. My belief is that one should be in the markets of things he has valued for the long term but should get out when the markets are overvalued. Is that the correct mindset. The few books that I am basing these assumptions on are 1) both of Howard Mark's books and 2 Benjamin grahams the intelligent investor and interviews of Bruce greenwald for the 2nd edition of the book Valuation: from Graham to buffet and beyond. Can you please give me your thoughts on my investment beliefs and can you please tell me how to broaden my knowledge in the best way possible ? Can you tell me how to learn more about valuation and how to think differently from others but still be right (contrarian). Thank you.
