2021 10 31 Kyrie! God Father

On Reformation Day, October 31, 2021, the congregation of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Colorado Springs sang "Kyrie! God, Father," liturgical music in the Lutheran Service Book, #942. Kyrie eleison (KIH-ree-ay eh-LAY-ee-shon) means Lord, have mercy. This setting of the Kyrie follows the ancient practice of expanding a liturgical text. Here the stanzas express a trinitarian interpretation of the threefold Kyrie.
