Before you cut the quarter, just sand the paint off all the way up, I can’t tell you how many I’ve seen that are all rotted under the paint, even though they look fine

"not going to do much to the truck, and keep the patina" replaces hood, tailgate , bed fenders and floor. Just restore the darn thing and get it over with.
