I believe this book is so popular because deep down, we’re all searching for love. Not just romantically, but in all aspects of interconnection. And as bell hooks beautifully stated, “Love is as love does. Love is an act of will - namely as an intention and an action.” In the end, I truly believe it is love that will save us all.

By the second passage I was thinking that you would probably very much enjoy The Art of Loving by Erich Fromm
and then Bell referenced him 😊 It is my favorite book so I think I am going to have to read Bell now.
