    You are braver than me my friend. I try not to cry as much as possible so I just block the $$ out of my head!! It really hurts when I sit back and think of how much I have in this beast. But as soon as I get on it those thoughts just go away and that fun factor takes over

      @@LifeWellRidden I can't say the same! This is actually first bike I've ever bought mods for! Every other bike I've ever owned I bought used and it was already modded and usually only kept them for 1 riding season! Would swap out every year for something diff. I guess I was always searching for this bike because I never even planned on keeping any of them until the first time I rode the supermoto and now I don't ever plan on getting rid of it!!

    I just bought a 2020 690 smcr for about 8k$ with 1500 miles, put in around 3k$ to have this same mods and a couple more. Think is a good deal, I have a 401 svartpilen and I love it! This surely is gonna give me some more option If I want to go to the track, but I would say both bikes have similar ride positions, obviously the 690 has a lot more power. Paired with a full custom Sur-ron for off road I think I am set!
    Anyways! You’re bike looks awesome and it seems like you are enjoying it so keep it up! Videos are really good! Hope you blow up on CZcams and hard work pays off!

      That is a heck of a good deal there! You definilty got the most bang for your buck! I bet the 401 is awesome around town and for short/longish trips to cruise on, been thinking about a bike for lonmger stints over the 690.
      The 690 on the track is a serious WEAPON! You will love it and scare the 600 sportbike riders hahaha

    I'm going to get this summer but I can't make my mind the 690 smc or Enduro or the 890ar is this bike good in the dirt if I put 50/50 tires on it and how's the front forks on dirt , I just want a bike to ride to work and have a go anywhere bike so is this bike that bike ?

    • @LifeWellRidden
      @LifeWellRidden  Před rokem +1

      This would all be my 2 cents but..
      I wouldn’t use a SMC R for any dirt riding, it’s essentially the same thing as an enduro minus the wheel/tires (and some other things). I have gone down some gravel roads and super easy dirt roads with no issue. So when it comes to forks in dirt, I really don’t have a good answer, just fine going over curbs, side streets, potholes and small loading dock drops haha
      If you are really looking to push more dirt riding I would go with the enduro R and then purchase a set of warp9 wheels if you really want a Supermoto discipline. I set my bike up so that it never touches dirt, just street/track.
      The 890 I would just keep on the road as well but wish I went with a 890 for the street and then a 250/300 for just dirt, if I could go back, I would do that!

    hey man you got me so confused. I got the mt09sp 2021 but I was thinking the sell it to get the 690 or the 701. I do one trip per year and most of the times i'm riding in the mountains backroads so I think that what I can do with the mt I can also do with the 690 plus i can do more wheelies and stupid stuff (at least I think). Also my ultimate dream bike is the hypermotard that's why I was thinking the sell the mt for the 690 or 701. Can you help a friend here and tell me what do you think

      Hey man! The MT09 is a badass bike! I would love one of those haha if your doing a longer trip and want to have some hooliganism, the Ducati is a sweet bike. That’s what I wanted but the cost upfront/service/mods were wayy up there haha I’m just far more familiar with the KTM platform.
      I would say if you want a fun bike that you can wrench on, buy the KTM but if you want a good replacement to the MT, go Ducati. The only thing is it will cost you a lot more in the long run.
