I read this in a book that has like old timey house tips about flower arrangements: when they start to get all droopy and sad, cut the slimey ends of the stems off and fill the vase with boiled water. My bouquet of sunflowers "died" and came back three times doing this. The hot water just wakes them right back up! (Also always make sure to cut the greens off so that there are no leaves or anything below the water because that will rot and reduce the lifespan of your arrangements)

Also, the life update part really hit home. I'm a waitress right now and I feel super stuck. I've been making a lot more Christian friends recently actually which has helped SO much. I guess I just start to self sabotage once I start seeing things go good.

I can relate, and it feels like I'm right behind you as far as me being in my lonely season, except its slightly different as a single mom (so I have one teen that helps lift off the loneliness), but as far as having actual "Jesus honoring friends" who lives in the same state as me, I am still waiting for some of those to stick around long term to do life with, but I have hope!
Just got laid off from a well-paid WFH job, but I ended up finding a different job (that I know will be short-term, because I already don't like it lol) It feels like a downgrade (less pay & actually have to leave my house and use up gas... one time so far, I drove 20 mins to work, just for my boss to send me home right away because machines wasn't working... it breaks down a lot) any who, I'm now around people who loves to live in the darkness of their life. And when I started to talk to some people & to be comfortable to hang out, eat lunch together, becoming friends with them, they all haven't returned back to work so far... I think they all quit :( So anytime I make friends, something happens to make it short-term... never gotten a chance to exchange numbers)
The other day I prayed for a part time job with full time benefits/pay so I can manage my time with GOD better by spending more time with HIM, and the very next day (yesterday) one of my YT shorts that I posted 3 weeks ago, kind of went viral to the most view I've ever had so far. So, Im wondering if God wants me to stay on CZcams too lol, because honestly, I'm feeling lost in what He wants me to do. and CZcams is a lot of work with just very little views, so I was starting to get discourage ... but I will still upload when I have time, just for fun. So, our story is different but similar. You rekindle my HOPE. Thank you Kyndel :) * if you see this lol, sorry for the long comment*
