Most of the time it's understandable. It's disappointing if they had their heart set on a different gender, and little ones don't have great control over their emotions. You can't expect them to react like adults. And some of the older kids, like the girl who had all the brothers and was hoping to finally get a sister, I can only imagine how heartbreaking that would be.
