    Thank you in advance.
My View My Opinion, is a commentary podcast. Everything I share is my personal opinion and is NOT to be taken as a fact. I observe public events, etc. and comment on them.

    FAQ:
Who are you and what is your name?
My name is My View My Opinion (MVMO) & I am a Podcaster, on CZcams. Due to safety concerns on the internet, I do not share my personal information anymore and I ask that others respect this. Also, I'm against the cult of personality & the promotion of self. I have no desire to "make a name" for myself. That's odd in this day & time I know, because most strive for this. Too many folks make themselves the center of attention instead of helping others first & allowing the information they share to be the focus of folks attention. Many crave applause, acceptance, & "fans & followers". I believe in letting the information take center stage.
Why don't you show your face?
My CZcams channel is host to my podcast. However, I do make on camera appearances from time to time & have many times in the past- as this is how my channel started, with me on camera talking about whatever. And for those who always ask, yes, I am a black woman, LOL

Mo'Nique's advocacy for pay equality for Black women in Hollywood has always been self-serving & self-motivated. She rallies other Black people because she needs the support not because she is really concerned about them.

Honestly, I’m tired of Moniques complaints take Oprah, Tyler, and Lee out the equation, and she has absolutely NOTHING to talk about. Her and “daddy” need to move on.

  • @jdbailey442
    @jdbailey442 Před 5 měsíci +14

You are absolutely right! She is an insincere bully, and her "Daddy" gives me pimp and snake oil salesman vibes. She wants to be a perpetual victim who wants people to kiss her behind. She isn't solution oriented, and quite a few of her industry counterparts have tried talking sense into her. She loves to throw people under the bus while calling them brother or sister. When her money dries up, "Daddy" will be gone like a candle in the wind. She was having tax trouble a few years back, and I am not sure if it's resolved as of yet. Everyone can't be wrong about Monique being problematic. Sidney has been assisting with ruining her career paired with her problematic attitude. I have shared this stance with friends for years.

Mo’Nique just went from trying to “uplift the community“ from her Shannon Sharpe interview to now opening up for Kat Williams wherewhere she (I kid, you not.) talked more about Oprah. Only this time she added Gayle King, and talked about Gayle King, having bad body odor. And even after Snoop Dogg had apologized to Gayle for the language he used to criticize her, Monique used that to talk about Gayle’s smell.

So glad I found this podcast. I was feeling somewhat depressed over the positive initial reaction to the interview. This embarrassing of the culture of grievance is blowing my mind. I was so disappointed in Shannon for giving her an amplified voice through his platform and riding the popularity of the katt Williams interview. It was so toxic and now validated through Club Shay Shay.
Monique is stuck in the past and continues to constantly seek to bring others into this toxic space with her. It saddens me a lot of folks can't see this nor the big picture surrounding her.

The ones that don't get it and can't see it, are - in their own lives, just like mo. They identify with her and saying she is wrong would mean they'd have to own up to the fact they are wrong. If she goes on for 10 more years, they'll support her all the way because secretly they're supporting themselves.

When. I tell you I LOVE your channel, you're the only one that see through the BS and give a true evaluation of a situation. Monique is messy, when she had her talk show in Georgia, we would stand in line only for her to be rude and sometimes late for recording. Monique asked people to boycott Netflix and after she got what she wanted ; a check and stand up show, we heard nothing else from her. When she did this recent movie with Lee Daniel she was not crying wolf, she got a check. After she worked with 50 cent she was quiet. Monique worked on the Will Packard project and her husband created a problem. When Kevin Hart gave her money to support her family and no one knew until she told it on the Shay Shay interview. Monique talked about Kevin because she stated he would not finacially support a new talk show for her. Now if you listen to the full recorded conversation between Monique and Tyler that she recorded without his knowledge, he never once said HE had her Blackedball; if I was Tyler I would never have another conversation with her. Sometimes you have to make a change for yourself, and reinvest in yourself to help your family....STOP CRYING WOLF! and work on the broken relationship with your oldest son. I knew her husband was the problem when she agreed to having a polyamorous relationship in a interview years ago. Monique is messy person who does not stand on telling the truth, but she can play God to convict others.

Mo'Nique is stuck in trauma and either can't or don't want to move on. Each time she tells her story she retraumize herself so she is never able to heal. I am a certified Counselor and have counselor hundreds of women who have experience this level of childhood and adult trauma. When I conducted counseling and groups I would limited the amount of times they could tell their story before they had to give a resolution plan. She getting something out of retelling this story for over 14 years. S...I worked in upper management and I can't tell you how many time what she related about O and TP and KH happen with backstabber in the office. You vent, grieve , resolve and move on. She is stuck! I wish many women would take a page from Tabitha Brown, create your own success, mind your business, and serve where you can.

The only person who can heal her is through truly having a relationship with God through Christ, and the universe is not able. Do the work that is necessary.

I support Mo’nique’s stance against the industry. And, I do think that Oprah and Tyler owes her an apology. However, she needs to forgive them, it’s time. She has let that unforgiveness grow roots in her heart, keeping her stuck reliving the hurt of the past. Even her comedy special was supposed to be a new page, her reclaiming her spot as a queen of comedy, but there was no comedic relief. This has totally consumed her life. I pray God frees her from all the pain and hurt she has experienced from people, so she that she can walk in true freedom.

Let me tell you, I didn't watch the interview with Monique on Shay Shay and let me explain why. I already knew she would be talking about the same people and same things that I've heard her gripe about over and over again. Toxic people draw toxic people and I can't listen to another word out of her mouth. So unless she has anything different to speak about, I won't be watching or listening. And of course Shannon only did this interview for views, but I understand, it's business. I just can't do it. All of that negativity vexes my spirit. I hope and pray she gets the therapy she needs to not only move on, but to change her way of thinking and have a more positive mindset.
Honestly, I can't blame people for refusing to talk with her. At some point you have to agree to disagree and move on. If you allow someone to continuously speak venom at you, eventually their demons will rub off on you. And you are responsible for protecting your peace at all costs.

She really needs to move forward and have some peace of mind. For her OWN mental health. I feel like her husband just instigates stuff to keep himself relevant in her life and career …. Forgiving them does not let them off the hook or for what they did, but it frees you so that they aren’t living rent free in your head and you won’t become bitter. And no, you won’t always feel like forgiving people, but that’s when you do it, practice forgiveness, it will change your life and give you so much peace

I watched the Katt William interview on Club Shay and Shay and enjoyed it! But no way will I listen to Monique. She is draining. It's the same thing over and over again! Enough already. I love my life too much to listen to someone repeating themselves for over a decade. She needs therapy.
Years ago a friend offended me and I was deeply hurt to my soul. I kept whining about it to my husband and after 3 months he told me to drop it. He told me he'd heard enough of it. At first, I was hurt that he wouldn't allow me to share my pain. I was forced to look within and I saw all I was doing to him was spreading my misery. I quickly snapped out of.
This makes me wonder what type of a loving husband enjoyed watching their wife relive and be stuck on misery? No true healthy man can put up with that for 14 years. No way.
Also, Monique isn't happy with her life and marriage. Happy and progressive people are never stuck in the past and are busy creating and enjoying the fruit of their labor with loved ones
Thank you for always sharing common sense with us.

She has talent. She (just like all of us melinated folk) needs to create something for herself and stop looking for other people to create for her (us). Time will pass her (us) by waiting on an apology or someone else to make something happen for her (us).

That Netflix special was Horrible!!! I’ve already seen and heard what I need to know about Monique and her Daddy..I remember listening to them when they released that private conversation they had with Tyler, they were horrible to him as he was trying to make peace. She can NEVER fool me

That’s because she is hurt about the same thing…when you hear the same thing over and over from the same person it’s the truth. They don’t want to talk to her because they know what they have done. Karma is real…

It has gone beyond an apology. She is using it as her act (tour) now. She will be talking about this from now to forever. She is blackballing herself at this point. Who wants to hire, work with someone like this even if it is true. Because if she thought you Offended her your name would just be added to her list to be called out.

Great video! I completely agree with you. Also Mo'Nique has inadvertently given free promo to Oprah, Tyler Perry, Lee Daniels, & Lion's Gate on & off for YEARS. And her free promo has not negatively affected their bank accounts much at all.

I believe she is STILL very hurt and most often her conversation will not change until the pain subsides. I feel for her but, I don’t have the answer as to what she should do to move on from it. I see it as physical loss for her….she is grieving and who can tell a grieving person when they should move on from their grief….the time table is different for everyone. Because I completely and with certainty know God is in control and I know no one gets away with anything they do….good or bad, I would not be in this situation. What I can and will do for Monique is pray for peace of her mind and her thoughts.

Wooo, lawd, u are speaking truth & fact. This tangent she has been on is exhausting & continues.
Does she realize there are no guarantees in life. And, just because u believe u should have, it doesn't mean u will have. Her growth is obviously stunted. Therefore, she only blames, condemns & attacks.
I dont think any of her & daddy's bs will really facilitate any success. 19:59

I feel this is the same kind of thing when you have to forgive someone who has failed you. You can never see or talk to them again if you wish not to, but when you forgive them and move on, that’s for you. They don’t deserve to have rent free space in your head or heart. She’s being held hostage by her own feelings. Let go and Let God🙏🏽
