    Why two of the faces were not having stresses on them , the top and the bottom , are going to be the two faces where we we
    don't draw any stresses. Does each has a stress of Z direction for Normal and shear stresses?

      bending creates tension and copression along the longitudinal axis. There is no force which is pulling /pushing the beam from top and at the same time opposite force at bottom.

    What a explanation... Most of us couldn't come and.attend the direct class , becuase of remote location.
