  • The ECOFLOW River 2 is a 268Wh powerstation. It costs £269 in the UK and provides power through AC, DC, USB-A and USB-C. You can charge the unit from solar power, AC power or DC input. Charging over AC takes 1 hour from 0% to 100%. Included in the box is an AC power cord, a DC cigarette lighter input and a manual. If you wish to charge through solar panels you will need to use an XT cable. This cost me an additional £8. You can use the mobile app to change settings and monitor charging. Overall I'm really pleased with the unit and I use it to power some high drain devices, which my other power stations couldn't handle. The fan being noisy is the only downside to the River 2. I go into the efficiency and costs of using AC power and USB-C. The River 2 uses LiFePO4 battery chemistry.
Let me know if you want to see more videos on powerstations and solar charging as I have a few items and a good insight.

How many hours does it take to 0% with those two dell monitors connected?

So I use only one monitor with the EcoFlow which is 32W power. The EcoFlow will last around 5 hours from 100% for this monitor. So that's about 160Wh. Using AC seems to not be as efficient as using DC.

Charge at full capacity, but it will only turn on if I plug it into the wall first to wake it up. So not very reliable for when the power goes out.

That sounds defective to me. Mine isn't like that at all.

The white light slowly flashes often on. So I unplugged it works if that is happening I’m now just monitoring it and we’ll try it after the light is not flashing, which is probably sleep mode. It probably is defective. Thanks for your quick response.

@@take-er-easy-now-eh You may wish to connect (with the phone app) over blutooth to see more info on device or change settings. A long press on the central button will turn it on and off
