*The Story Behind the Song:
During a music tour in Mohe (a city in China), Liu Shuang (the singer/songwriter) met this old man by chance at the Mohe ballroom. The old man had lost his wife in the 1987 Black Dragon fire. Since then, the old man has not remarried and has no children for more than 30 years. He would often go to the Mohe ballroom and dance alone to remember his wife who loved to dance and remember when they used to dance together. After obtaining the old man’s consent, Liu Shuang composed this song "Mohe Ballroom" based on the true story.

尘封入海吧 literally translates to "dust into the sea" or "what is covered in dust, let it go into the sea" but that doesn't really make sense in English since the Chinese lyrics are more metaphorical. My translation was just my interpretation of the lyrics given the backstory of the song. Ultimately, I was trying to convey a sense of "letting go." It is often hard to translate into English without losing the poeticness of Chinese lyrics. I tried my best to match the emotions of the Chinese lyrics rather than just translating everything literally. Other interpretations I've seen include "vanish into the sea", "let it be sealed up in the sea", etc. You can have your own different interpretation as well :)
