....I had to smile when I heard you say how relaxing it was for you to sit and iron... I love to iron, it's like " Therapy " for me . Lol.. I've been one of those gals that ironed everything... creases on my jeans, I ironed all my daughters clothes when they were growing up... it was just part of " Homecaring " which I still enjoy . I iron my pillowcases, sheet hems ( top of ) and my Duvet covers.

As for your keeping your little kitten off The Mantel I once had a kitty that enjoy getting on the fireplace mantel and I trained her not to do that it just takes a little bit of time and consistency...she knocked an entire winter scape down, that was on the mantle, part of it was an Antique house window, and only ONE pane got broken, and she did not get hurt at all. But, I think it also re- inforced my training ,lol. I think it gave her such a fright that .." uhmm. Not doing that again ", in her head, lol.

I iron a lot, tea towels, pillowcases, napkins, table clothes and my top sheet. I really enjoy it and I feel so satisfied when I finish.
Bed,bath,beyond, I bought a small steamer. Works great getting wrinkles out. Your videos are very entertaining. Enjoy your day.

I was wondering the same thing. I absolutely love it.
Always press the linens, drapes and all fabrics in the house; including tablecloths, cloth napkins, valances, pillowcases, anything with ruffles (including the ruffles). Everything stays fresh on windows and such if a little spray starch and damp handkerchief are used with that iron. I had grandmothers. Does it show?.... Love your look! Very refreshing! I'll share it with my daughter; very much her style!
Growing up we would iron the pillowcases. They were all Cotten and when you ironed them the would feel so cool and sleek. Still love those cases today, but I can only find at thrift stores. I love the duvet cover. Just so pretty💕

Iorning your linens used to be a thing in the 50's but no more. Now you can mist with a spray mister filled with water and smooth/stretch the linens and the wrinkles come out. Loved your video.

Omg. I was soooo excited to see this. I have the exact same duvet set vintage shabby chic. I have the pillow case and the cute little matching case that came with it. I also keep my bedroom white and I have been craving some spring colors. This was just awesome.
No I don't always iron because my kitty gets up on my bed sometimes so I end up washing my duvet and bedroom linen very often. If I have wrinkles, I just put into my dryer. I do iron my curtains but grew up with a mother who ironed everything. Including hankies. Very inspiring.

I love that swags are coming back! I used to have the everywhere around 2005 maybe. I made a lot of them. Then they seemed to fade away from decorating style. So glad they're back!

I usually iron my pillow cases but I use the steamer on the sheets, as they are put on the bed. This is so much easier, I do wait a few minutes to allow time for drying before putting blanket back on.

Monica.ihave iron certain linen pieces;pillow cases, curtains,table napkins when new.some things looks so beautiful after you iron them. .i love the mantel.iwouldnt crowd to many things on it because it's already so beautiful!sometimes simple but elegant is the best.ilove so many simple things with and elegant flair.l love things that are shabby chic with pinks, whites and things with yellow tones.but golds are my favorite colors .ido alot of mixing and matches.dont like everything matchy matchy .that sofa ihad seen it before .iwould love to have that one!its so classic.

All beautiful as always! Yes, I was so disappointed when Target discontinued Simply Shabby Chic. It was a line Rachel Ashwell made for Target and was there for many years. The online catalog is designer level and very expensive. Love your duvet, I had the extreme luck to find one of the original prints in a thrift shop in perfect condition for almost nothing. The traveling sofa has moved again! Gorgeous anywhere you put it.
Rachel Ashwell shabby chic is classic. Target made a huge mistake. I much prefer her products to anything in the over-promoted Joanna Gaines line.
Just randomly came across the news that Walmart is carrying Simply Shabby Chic! Very reasonable prices.

AHHHH!! I AM IN LOVE W/SHABBY CHIC ESPECIALLY YOUR DOVET! that print reminds me a little of the twall print? Im sure I spelt that wrong. I am about to finally use my new dovet cover I ordered off Amazon. I have never ironed bedding. I usually just will throw in dryer w/xtra sheets & fluff to get fresh smell & any wrinkles out. I love your mirror tray & it gave me an idea for this frame I have that is very similar to your tray
