- Bill Johnson teaches how to thrive while you’re waiting for your breakthrough. Jeremiah 29: 11 is a well known verse, and was a promise given to Israel while they were in captivity. God instructed them to thrive - to build houses, have families, and establish their lives, even while they were waiting for their breakthrough. Your ability to thrive in life and the decisions you make must not depend on your outward circumstances; God is calling you to live from the inside out, because the Kingdom you carry on the inside is greater than any challenge you face.
The second part of Bill’s message is about hearing God’s voice and recognizing when and how He is speaking. Bill shares examples from his life of unusual ways that God has spoken to him, and how the Lord also brought understanding to those signs as Bill quieted his heart to ponder and take notice of them.

"He talks different. English is not His first language." I love ALL of the many different ways He speaks, but sometimes, I hear His audible voice as I am falling asleep or coming awake. And I know it's Him because no one else talks like that! For example, He said to me one time, "Iniquity is the foudation for a toppling theology." I knew immediately what He meant because of a conversation I'd read the night before among some Christians online who were saying that Romans 7 meant that they will always sin. (What about Romans 8??)
Two nights ago, He said to me, "The covenant of peace. The covenant of blood poured out." I did not know that I knew those phrases, but they are in the Word. I was asking Him yesterday and today what it means for me and why He said that to me. He has answered me (in a different way). He spoke to me exactly what He knew I would need to be reminded of these past two days. The beginning of this message about our internal kingdom influencing our surroundings was another perfect piece ("Peace, be still!") of the puzzle. How I love His voice. How I love His mysteries. How I love how present and available He is. How I love His steadfast love.
But - who talks like that? Who is like the Lord? No one. Only HIM.
BE. STILL. MY. HEART.🤍🕊🌪🌫
This morning I meditated on waiting for God's curtain to open and reveal the holy spirit. It's a hopeful time! Thank you for your message!
When the Lord directed to leave a church fighting n striving n I was at " the straw that breaks the camel's back", HE told me to " position myself" n I understood it to mean " position at the footstool of God, in praise N worship" N HE will bring HIS plan to pass!"❤

Wow! The testimony about the road runner reminded me about a time a bird came in our house back in 2014, and a dear friend asked me" what did you see?" God spoke and gave me a message for the church but never felt lead to share until now. So thankful God message, God has used it to take me on a journey since May 8 2024 when I first listen and it had been amazing and I still haven't shared the word the Lord gave me yet to my church.. told the pastor and elders but they need to find a time were all available. Prayers to Holy Spirit guidances.💥🔥💥

Wow that roadrunner testimony was awesome. First I had to google roadrunners coz I thought that it was just the cartoon character, just to be disappointed it looks nothing like it. Just like most the world think Tassie Devils look like the cartoon character, I’m from Tassie and believe me they don’t 😂 but wow, what an amazing way for God to speak to the church. I bet that janitor felt relieved when Ps Bill told him what God had said. This whole sermon has been really encouraging.
I really hope to come back to this video to see comments of testimonies of some bird stories!!! I was deep in prayer super late one night on the porch. the MOMENT I felt this Angelic encounter intensifying, I began to hear this horrible squawking, it sounded horrible like a tetradactyl. I thought, its distraction of the enemy. I try to ignore to focus on the Lord, but the sound got closer, i started getting scared so, I remembered "the Lord will not suffer the righteous to be moved" then EEEEEEKKKK he flew RIGHT in front of me and I took off screaming. Once I was in the house , I saw it was like a tiny bird and it was hurt.. I wrapped it to hold it and prayed over the bird for hours off and on. I felt a shaking in the Spirit , he was gone the next morning though, but still I wasn't clear on if he was healed or what that even was about..
I have a bird story. In a very dark time parenting a very rebellious teen, God sent a Raven. Often, the Raven would make his presence known, through his call. If go out, greet the Raven and he'd fly off. Sometimes he would be outside on the lamppost when I'd go out, or come in. He'd appear after one of my daughter's manic meltdowns. He'd appear in all of my despairing moments. I'd even pray to see him in those moments, and of course, he would appear.
This year, I have not seen the Raven. He is gone. But so is my despair. The daughter is not flipping out anymore and is stable now. So I wonder why I don't see the Raven. And God says because you see me now that your despair has left you.
So I'm entering now a season of just communing with God. Enjoying his Presence.

Please do the sermon on birds! I have a personal reason.
Sometimes it's confusing to try to follow along with Bill's readings. What version of the Bible does he use?
Type what he says in google. That's one way to figure it out.
In one of his Proverbs study sessions he was reading NKJV, from Jack Hayford's The Spirit-Filled Life Bible. He mentioned it wasnt an endorsement, he liked the study notes. And yes, you can verify by google if you want. I've heard him use Amplified and MSG translations briefly before for context too but he usually mentions what they are right then. (You might like Biblehub, plenty of versions for study & reference, plus Bible Commentary section).

I wouldn't wish a lifetime in exile from blessing on anyone, but this phrase is quite poignant for today, given the plethora of channels on CZcams prophesying instant breakthrough in almost every video, compounded by the hundreds of others that the algorithm sends when watched.
