hope they use kramer for m-i 7 and 8.
I hope so, because I don't think Lorne Balfe's music in "Faluot" is on the same level as Joe Kraemer's. Or Hans Zimmer would also be a good artist for appropriate film music that really draws you into the film
@@ericpeeters3400 they got good ol' Lorne to do both Dead Reckonings. And the first one is pretty damn good - the one that I've never really gotten into too much is Giacchino's. There are some great moments in M:I4's score, but it just doesn't hit as hard
Kraemer is too good and classy for that crap, Balfe suits it perfectly: senseless noise, useless pompousity, no rythm, no meaning, no matching.

this was excellent but it doesn't top Fallout's score.
That's a pretty ridicolous statement. This tops Fallout by miles and should be studied by anyone who wants to make movie soundtracks. Balfe is just a not intelligent version of Zimmer.
@@ElMatadorDelMar123that is your good opinion, but I feel the opposite
Well man i dont think that's an opinion: look at articulation, elegance, deconstruction/remodulation of the famous MI theme, symbolism (deconstruction of the theme pairs with deconstruction of the hero and his myth, leaving his fragility and egotism exposed; Lane theme feels like a black hole, just as the villain himself; Ilsa theme being Nessun Dorma in different variations), rythm, most of all ability to increase every scene potential: Casablanca bike chase is just a realistic 4 bikes chase where nothing absurd happens (totally different from action sequences in next two movies) but is by far the best chase in the saga, mostly because of the soundtrack (but not only, it's definitely better shot); same can be said for Kremlin escape from Ghost Protocol, just a walk/little run but keeps me on the edge of my seat much more than every scene in Fallout or DR1 does, only because of the soundtrack.
That's what a composer should do.
Most of the times Balfe just overwhelms scenes with senseless not at all rythmed pompousity, it gives them very little.
@@ElMatadorDelMar123 well, I don’t look for these when I listen to this. I leave that aspect to those who study film music.
@@alexsajen fair, but this being a better soundtrack than every other in the saga is pretty much ultimately objective; maybe you can enjoy more the other for some personal reason (a lot of people told me they use it for training or running) and that's ok.
Easily the best of the MI scores. I really dislike what Lorne Balfe did for the next two films; I turned off Fallout after 30 minutes when his noisy score became annoying.
