As a zombie, you still need to take care of your body. Cold/dry areas would be best, you don't want to get wet since you don't have much of an immune system. You basically want to act like a mummy. get those embalming fluids. Not feeling pain is your enemy.
Yeah I feel like people take pain for granted. Some people don't feel physical pain at all and it's probably a curse for them. Would make life five times harder.

When I heard she was infected I got scared of a bad ending
You know, until this series, I'd never thought of the concept of partial zombie virus immunity (or in this case, a partial zombification virus). In most series if someones immune, then thats it, a bite won't turn them. But the concept that you could somehow be only *partially* immune, or a differing strain could cause you to start rotting and decay, yet keep all your mental faculties, is infinitely more terrifying than just becoming a mindless undead.
Sadly I was familiar with the concept because of the film Warm Bodies. Ngl made me hella concerned watching this one because of how cringey that film is but no this was pretty enjoyable.
Only other one where I have seen a partial infection is in the anime kabaneri of the iron fortress. Although partial infected in that universe is more similar to resident evil where instead of them turning they just become stronger and more durable humans that need blood to survive instead of flesh.
On the topic Tokyo Ghoul kinda covers this as well
There's a movie where people are cured of the virus, but remember their time when they were infected. There's also warm bodies, as the other guy mentioned.

@@ScratcheffVAI think it’s great that you gave the story closure without pushing it too far. Survivor and apocalypse stories have a lot of potential to drag on too long and never go anywhere and as much as I’d have liked to see more of these characters I’m happy we got enough time to get to know them but not enough for them to become static and repetitive. I think ending at five was a good call

Tbh, the first time I heard part 5, I felt bittersweet, but now that I just listened to the whole thing again, it feels more like we reached a happy middle. And the final zombie hug is really getting to me every time! It was great to listen to the whole thing again!

When I realised we are a bit decayed my brain instantly went “Wait does that mean the ending will be us decaying completely and leaving her alone? D:”
This story probably has multiple endings depending on which zombie the listener was tbh
A tank: survivor probably dips on the spot and they never meet
A hunter: survivor is much more cautious but since they can't really outrun them, they eventually come to terms
A spitter: shot on spot
A jockey: listener is treated like a child before making a sudden movement and getting struck down
A boomer: shot on spot
A witch: avoided at all costs
And a charger: After multiple attempts at trying to communicate with charades, the charger gave up and left because they can't move they're 2 massively differently sized arms to make any motions

it's ironic that because she got infected she can be close without fear. anyway, i enjoy the video and your voice sounds so soft. i would like if you add more expression in it tho, like surprised voice or laughter.
also fun fact : shirayuki tomoe (the girl in the picture) once made short drama voice about zombie apocaypse where she shot her partner because the partner got infected, only to have the government announce that zombie infection can be cured minute later. i just found the coincidence funny.

You probably don't know much about South Africa and all the shit that happens here, but it's currently loadshedding, which is just a scheduled power outage because after the ANC took over in '94 they decided to pocket the money specifically set aside to upgrade our power stations, and I just have to say, I got really into the role of the zombie, I also felt, and I mean felt, confused but happy when the survivor hugged me at the end, I mean like I was stunned and didn't know what to do.
