1. This is MARRIAGE, not sex slavery. The woman is given a month to mourn her parents before the man is allowed to marry her. He is not allowed to rape her. He is not allowed to sell her or treat her as a slave. She is a WIFE.
2. Yes, it is reasonable to assume that she would accept marriage. This is 4000 years ago - not the 21st century. What options were there for a single woman without family in those days? She certainly couldn't go out and earn her own living as women can today.
3. These are the laws given to Israel under Moses and under God. The law is summed up by "love God first" and "love your neighbour as yourself" Matt 22:37. So yes, the woman is going to be treated well because the man is answerable to God, who commands us to love our neighbours as ourselves.
