Super review
I am 6 ft 3 and have got the same hammock. I have experienced just what you described. It is supersoft, superpackable and very small and lightweight. I have a GT double with 70D nylon, but this new one takes it all regarding stretch and softness.
Untill so far no issues with the stitching. I put my Amazone lightweight straps and whoopie sling on top.
An annoying aspect of the GT double is the seam that is necessary to make it wider; this doesn't have any give, which makes laying with your head or neck on it unpleasant.
I got the trunktech single pretty cheap in a sale last summer for some 36 euro, $44 .😁
Very happy user. I do sleep in it, far better than on whatever mat in a tent or even a mattress at home!

I just reveived mine and i owning several other hammock i can definitely say that the tear on the pocket is not your fault. The stitching on the pocket is a bit flimsy and not reinforced like my other hammock especially on that cut where the drwstring is. I might do a bit of diy to avoid it getting rip apart

How were you able to put this thing back away into its pocket, I haven’t been able to do with mine
It just takes a little stuffing. There is an old video on this channel ( czcams.com/video/4kECo8RRsiQ/video.html ) that shows how to setup and take down an Eno. This hammock packs up the same way.
Is there a spot to secretly hook a rope to in the middle of the night and run it to a tent and pull, freaking out the hammock sleeper?
