Ireland's revamp is really good too
It is so subtle I really wouldn't call it a "revamp" - just a small handful of new production flourishes added here and there and a better balance in the sound mixing.
Albania 🇦🇱 revamp is great. Besa and her team have put in a lot of effort. She also sounds great live and unlike previous Albanian English entries she has the best diction. Of course the massive Albanian Diaspora will show up on the night so she has a chance in qualifying. The lyrics have changed completely there was no way one could translate the Albanian lyrics to English, her lyricist Gia opted to rewrite the song.
The new hair is unexpected yet so good. Love the video by the way, and hope your both doing spended 😊 can't wait for the next video 🎉

Lmao I'm so happy you made this video. When this song finally got on to Spotify, I was so excited because I absolutely loved the song and had been checking back for it for months! But when I listened to it, it sounded so different from the live performance that I was like "this is not the same song..."
I don't like Albania's revamp but I never really liked the song in the first place. The only revamp that elevated the song for me is Czechia.

At one point I had Czechia in my Top 10 then other songs got released, same as Loop and the Albanian one. Problem is that people remember the originals and liked it and sometimes the revamps just don't compare.
I've been listening to remixes, and believe me some are much better than the originals.

I just dont understand why you guys see Albania as annon qualifier. I think its one of the dtrongest Albanian entries. The production is rich and grand it feels anthemic and the identity is clear shes a 1.55 cm woman wanting to be a Titan lol. Except for that its catchy and it just feels a lott better then Malta and Czechia in a lot of aspects especially live.

I very much meh the Luxembourg song but don’t know the reasons behind your not feeling comfortable with it. Why am I always the last to know? What’s the story girls? Adore Chechia ❤
There were too many red flags for us regarding potential Israeli influence in the selection process and a dedication Tali made during the press conference after her national final made us very uncomfortable. This has lead to a lot of rumours, hysteria and sadly some antisemitism towards Tali online which we do not approve of. We still don't feel comfortable covering it though. 💕

is it revamped or are people just noticing the instrumental more in the karaoke version? because it sounds Exactly the same to me, just without bambie’s voice
@@christianj5950 it isn't a full overall but there are definitely new elements that fill out the track and add more intrigue and spice. An easy one to notice is the drum build up at the start before the vocals would kick in. The synthetic stabs are also a nice new touch all of the build ups before new sections are new, they used to just chop to the next somewhat but this adds new flows
I'm not sure I'd call it a "revamp" but the new subtle production flourishes and sound mixing are welcomed.

I think in the press conference after she won the national final, she dedicated the song, titled ‘fighter,’ to her brother who was in the Israeli Defence Force, which isn’t a great look considering the genocide case regarding Israel’s attack on Palestine currently going on in the ICJ

as a Maltese person... we don't know what the hell is going on with the Maltese Eurovision song picks either. the delegations have always been a mess here for many reasons lmao
The only revamp i don’t like this year is Luxembourg. The instrumental feels less powerful, the electronic part is unnecessary. The only part that’s good about it is the slower bridge.
Pedestal is easily the best revamp this year. It’s way more impactful and the instrumental is way better. It’s my number one this year. Malta being number 2 haha.
Also, titan isn’t a translation of the Albanian version. It’s completely different.
It doesn’t make much sense reviewing professional videos where they all sound good up against other entries original national song competition live. You should review the pre party Madrid, London or Amsterdam where they all sing live and you get a sense of how they perform live. Thank you
Pre-parties are not reflective of what to expect in Eurovision. They are often riddled with audio issues and other technical difficulties and aren't always professionally recorded either. At the time of filming we had only had the Madrid pre-party, and Besa was sick during her performance that night so it wouldn't have made sense to react to. 💕
Czechia's song is soooo 90s alt-pop, seaking as an old fart who was clubbing in the early 90s
Czechia’s 14th on my rankings, so underrated, shame it’s probably a goner and won’t get to the finals

I was chatting to loads of Icelandic ladies at the weekend and they almost all said they are boycotting ESC this year. Will you boycott it too?
We have spoken about this on our community tab and multiple times elsewhere. We personally don't think boycotting Eurovision this year will be effective and we fear that doing so will remove all pro-Palestinian voices from the contest, essentially handing it over to those that support the Israeli government. It is appalling that Israel have been allowed to participate this year and we understand if people feel more comfortable boycotting the show whilst Israel are allowed to compete. We genuinely believe that most of this year's participants assumed like we did that we would not be seeing Israel compete this year. We hope to see a permanent ceasefire in Palestine before next year's contest comes around, or we shall be calling again for the removal of Israel from Eurovision and will likely not cover the contest on our channel again if this does not happen.
I am an unashamedly basic bitch, I love Malta, it is number 3 in my ranking.
