For those of you that don't know, Chael was hated by the majority when he was doing his trash talk. He slowly started to win ppl over. The same way Colby was hated by everyone and now ppl are starting to change.

A helluva showman. Knows he's an entertainer as much as a fighter. Some, like Nate Diaz entertain with fighting style (fighting "attitude" is probably a better description) and some are born to entertain as well as fight. Sonnen seems to understand the game better than most.

I def disagree Chael has only been KO'd by the 2 best of all time in the last like 5 years he fought. His first fight with Silva he was killing him. Who knows but i think Rockhold would win but not that quick.
He had 17x the normal testosterone level in him during that fight in 2010. TRT Chael was quite awesome.

If Georges comes back and fights Robbie Lawler right away (counting on if Lawler beats Tyron Woodley) I think Robbie could win that. If not it would be a 5 round, 25 minutes of grinding decision grapplefuckery, But Robbie is Bigger, has athleticism to not be overwhelmed by GSP, Better Hands, way more power, ect. Robbie presents all sorts of problems for georges. Only gateway for GSP is wrestling (same for woodley) but Robbie, over the years, has improved his wrestling takedown defense, he didn't let Rory take him down, Hendricks takedown Percentage on him was miniscule. Georges doesn't have a glass chin but he doesn't like to get hit and Robbie would finish it if he lands.

Chael's more recent Bob Sapp mentality in fights makes any prospective matchup with anyone good pretty uninteresting. The second he feels like he's in any real danger he just gives up. How exciting.
