    Hey, nice vid! Is that a LX car engine crate motor? Can you share a BOM with the AC Compressor and Alternator part numbers and any bolts you needed to grab with those? Also the belt part # if you don't mind... Thanks! My Build will be featured on JKU 392 Adventures channel :)

      Great Jeep!!! . I just blew a head gasket so instead if fixing just going to do the swap. I have the Nag 1 in my 17 Rubicon recon. 8speed that much better ?? Thanks.

      @@trcannon1650 To me the 8spd was a big step up compared to the nag1. It has much lower 1st gear and more overdrive. saves fuel on highway!

    Wouldn’t you need to toque many of the fasteners to factory specs? And tightening sequence? Would on my build!

    Thanks for posting/sharing. Looking to do the Hemi swap on my JK. Why did you pick the 5.7 over the 6.4?

      cost is the main factor. other factor includes 5.7 swap is more mature, less of overheating concern, does not need to shift the front grill forward for clearance, and no need to upgrade the rest of the driveline. Good luck on your swap!

    What alternator and belt kit did you use? I like what you did, it will make it easy if the alternator ever goes out. I am going with the same crate engine that you used.

    Awesome work bud! Getting ready to do this myself, just waiting on the ECU and harness. How long did this swap take you? This will be my "vacation" this year and I'm trying to plan accordingly.

      About 3 weeks roughly. Once you have all the parts it's not that hard. The toughest part is to get all the parts together in time so do plan ahead!

      @@hadestech5005 thanks I appreciate it! Literally just the ECU and harness is holding me up. I have a group of people that are helping with the project so goal is to get done quick and get to camping.... hopefully

      You can totally do it in a two car garage with basic mechanic skills. That's basically how I did it.

      I used the 8hp70 trans in this swap. The driveline can handle the torque as long as you don't go too crazy in 4lo

    What was the total cost of this? Did u have to change motor mounts?

      I used the JSS kits that comes with a bolt on motor mount. Install is very easy. Total cost is under 20k. If you get used engines it would be even lower

      I used the JSS bolt on motor mount. Very straightforward install

    Awesome Video! did you keep the Rubicon 4:1 tcase with the 8 speed? Or did you switch it out for a 2:1?

      I did switched it to a sport case off from a manual Jeep, the auto case won't fit with the 8spd. The 1st gear of the 8spd is really low so it should be just fine in 4lo

    One thing getting her started but all the electronics nonsense CELs for no reason, etc.
