Wow for a specialist sprinter to battle the pave and dusty course of Flanders witth a climb up Muur van Geraardsbergen, and win: a big Congrats Coryn!!
Sacrilegious! The Greats are rolling over in their graves. Tour of Flanders and Paris Roubaix should never ever end in a bunch sprint especially one with lead out. This Flanders out of reverence should be removed from the record books as though it never happened.
This race was a joke. Boels-Dolmans cost Van Der Breggen a golden chance to win the race by apparently telling her to stop pulling for the breakaway. Why? To help a teammate sprinter--who did not win? So you ruin one ride's chance to win--and not just any rider--Van Der Breggen is Olympic champ and was very strong today--to help another rider who doesn't win? Stupid!
These commentators are a joke. So condescending and with no serious insight into anything. Fuckin hell, they're not little girls. What an embarrassment.

I was going to say, Rochelle does seem to be passively aggressively correcting a lot of banter which is great. But otherwise, as a female cyclist, I stand by my original comment.
They were fine. Gilmore has astute observations and is pretty spot on with her commentating. She read that break pretty spot on, as well as the entire situation. She also picked Rivera as a possible winner early on. The other commentator comes across more like a fan, and with enthusiasm so they make a good pairing. To me, it was good commentating on a historic race. Boels Dolemans are the Quick Step of womens racing. Pulling donkey tactics and expecting to win.

Richard Ernsberger I agree. If she took her pulls the break probably stays away, and she's the big favorite in the sprint.
