Scotch is not superior, only more expensive. I will concede this, Ardbeg is delicious. And I won't drink bourbon that tastes like peanuts nor Flinstones fuckin' vitamins.

Blue Blocker ECBP! I picked up a bottle of C921 a few days ago. It’s amazing and getting better by the day. Wildly entertaining review as usual 👍
Just cracked my C921. It’s so damn good, they always are. Even the not-so-great batches, are better than most on the shelf. So much flavor, worth every penny. But you are absolutely correct, they definitely reach their peak after they’re opened and have some air. First pour is sweater vest, but the 8th or 9th pour is straight up full on tuxedo with a top hat and cane.
Just found this bottle at my local store I pop in relatively often just sitting on the shelf. My first ECBP ever. Very excited about it.

Matt! You make me laugh out loud often during your reviews. Thank you for that! Two things; where did you get those glasses? Not the ones you were wearing, but the one you often drink from. Second thing, and this is only a suggestion, it would be amazing that when you rate a whiskey, you show where it scored amongst your other ratings. Basically show where EJBP slots into the mix. Kinda like when the guys from Top Gear rate the quickest lap times. I hope this makes sense. Keep up the great work. You are one hell of an entertainer and I love your videos.

I liked this video immediately because you put on the sweater vest for ECBP... I mean, it wouldn't be overkill to put on a blazer, but anything above and beyond a button up is commendable.
Stumbled into the liquor store today to find a C921 sitting on the shelf (along with a Henry McKenna 10yr BIB)! Score! Very solid whiskey. I'm not anything of a "professional" noser or taster, but I really enjoy this one.

@@howie5th at this moment, I can not say yet, I haven’t cracked it open yet. I actually have only tried the 10 so far, 9 & 11 are still sealed.
I was underwhelmed with A121 and B521. My first barrel proof EC's. Rare Breed and Knob Creek single barrel blow them out the water for half the price; its not even close.
Rare Breed is always consistently good. I go through about 3 bottles a year. I do one in late summer, one in early fall, and one starting around Thanksgiving through Christmas.

No such thing as a bad batch of ECBP. My favorite from last year went back and forth between B520 and C520. Just got my C921. Will now have to compare with A and B.

I have ECBP 122,522,922 and thought they all were a little hot and going back a week or so later I think they are awesome! I have a chance to get a b520 for $150 is it worth it to try some of the past?

I never saw a C920 here in the Whiskey Wasteland aka Michigan. Hoping to see batch C this year. With or without blueblockers.
Seems like the only ECBP we get in Michigan consistently are the B batches, hoping this year is different.

Yo Matty Ice! First great review as always. Not sure if you’ve reviewed Elijah Craig 18 year, but you need to put the final word on it. Seems to be the most divisive Elijah Craig bourbon out there. I think that the worlds greatest bourbon taster needs to put the argument to an end. Is it garbage or is it good? The world needs to know!
