Dude is a dope rapper, got bars, had commercial hits back then but as the years went by, used social media to stay relevant instead of doing it by dropping consistent bangers.
Hence why he will forever be labeled as underrated
To be fair fab has dropped a project every year from 2006-2018, and one of them years he dropped 2 projects. Tbh that’s how he stayed relevant as well.
@@stevieb274 Those projects were dope but none of it really propelled him to a higher level or got him cemented as one of the undeniable best in the game, like Kendrick and Cole did.
He always gets referred to underrated or just lyrical.
But we'll see with the Reloaded album.

These two are my 2nd and 3rd favorite rappers, but never will get the mainstream success like those two other rappers you named. Imo he's not underrated at all. All elite rappers love him, we Listeners love him and he got bread. Also he's sending good energy into Universe. Its up to you what you make out of it.

Not gonna lie, Fab basically saying Soul Tape was some type of musical phase that he has now grown past is corny and dumb. Nigga you don’t release enough music already as it is so why would you deny product that your core fanbase loves from you
exactly. Hov dropped 4:44 at 47. Life experiences that we all go through, you put that in the music. Meanwhile we see he hasn't grown past still going to the strip clubs and making that kind of music like Act Bad or his recent Say Less track.
