I was compelled to buy Zanzibar but not the duping Sauvage Asad. Zanzibar made me realise how much I love the iris note. Would never expect iris to go well with the coconut note and I don't particularly love coconut note to begin with. LOL!

Was hoping you'd also put le beau paradise garden in that comparison since thats tops on my list followed by le be le parfum, then asad zanzibar. Pina colada is my favorite tropical drink and I'd LOVE to get kokonut daiquiri but unfortunately i can't afford it 😢
I just got mine a couple of days ago and it is decent. I haven't been anywhere this week to see how I like it but it is not my preferred scent. I like a signature kind of like Aqua Di Parma (original), and or Black Oud (Atar) Totally different ends of the spectrum but They last on me longer and I get the most compliments.
It's an excellent fragrance. Definitely beach vibes, summer. I'm glad I bought it. Keep up the excellent work Neeb. You need to come back to NY!!!!

I like how we have both perspectives. It’s helpful because we have Some one whose nose is developed and appreciates complexity but there is also the other side on which is more relatable because most of us want something versatile and good quality. It's a le beau le parfum twist. Save your money if u already have le beau le parfum
I think people are comparing the wrong la beau, it smells more like le beau edt not le parfum. To me it smells like a combination of azzaro chrome pure and le beau edt with some creamy iris.

I guess I'm the contrarian on this scent. Based on the CZcams reviews, this was a blind buy. I don't get the "summery-beach" vibe. To me it smells like burnt marshmallows. My advice, do not purchase without smelling it first.

My question is how long does the saltwater and coconut water notes last?
I get a very heavy salt(y water) note around 2(!) hours.Which seems a lot of time, but then the salty coconut changes in a beautiful light powdery vanilla coconut (water). Gives me 8 hours beach-vibes. Sweet, but never to sweet. Perfect for hot summer days, I adore this perfume.

I been using stronger with u and aqua di Gio and I spray behind ear top on pressure points on front of neck one on back of neck and then 2 on shirt and people still don’t smell it irl, what is going on lmao
Spray 3 on the shirt in the same place on all three sprays. I always spray atleast 6 sprays on everything. If it's weak I spray more than that

@@a.g.5983 dont like the opening. But I enjoy the mid to the base when coco water splashing. Its a sunnyday fragrance in my opinion with moderate projection and easy 6 hours long in the very high heat. Maybe performs much better in lower temperature. I am in the tropical country with 2 seasons where the heat can fry an egg 😅

@@a.g.5983 honestly, I won't suggest Zanzibar. Get Turathi Blue (or Rue Broca Theoreme for cheaper alt. Same scent profile, but less performance). They're worth the price in the cheapie category.
I've been wearing a sample I got from Fragbuy...I don't think it deserves even a half of the hype. .. I mean , its not horrible but I don't love it either. Certainly it is very unique, but there is a strange note in it that I cannot put my finger on, that smells really weird, like musky. Otherwise, it would be something in the ballpark of The Most Wanted. Def not for me. Perhaps more suitable for a younger crowd. (I'm 47)

Just got my Zanzibar today 01/05/24, first couple of Sprays looks like low projection, Not too impressive and not different smelling.

They are totally different perfumes, I would say. Could not compare them, but I love the Zanzibar for the summer season, (accept the heavy salty start).

This is the first time i am not coinciding with Neeb. This Perfume Asad Zanibar is not blind buy, it sucks like old coconut oil. OG Asad is much better perfume than this one. I think first time Lattafa failed me.
What does asad og really smell like. I've heard aftershave and barbershop vibes. Is that true?

I didn't want to even smell it for month due to that hideous gold ribbon on the bottle ( I took it off by the way) when I received it I was honestly blown away. I haven't smelled Savauge Elixir yet but Asad is great for cooler weather, not COLD but cool. I got it a couple weeks ago and worn it 3 times already, which is going against my rule of : " Mature it a week before testing". It's a "bleu" fragrance with some Incense and vanilla. A great date night fragrance in my opinion.
Well, i disagree. It's all about taste. Some like fresh spicy more, and others prefer tropical fresh sweet more. It's like chocolate or vanilla. Not everyone has the same tastes, and that's what's beautiful about the world.
My thing about what you said is that "it's a letdown for you." Yeah, I understand you don't like it (because it's not to your preference) but the fragrance is *not* a letdown. Tropical freash sweet is extremely popular her in the Caribbean, and this fragrance delivers on that. It is a banger!
