This was the right message I needed today because yesterday I was watching a CZcams video of another believer and things he said really tore me apart and I just wasn't the same all day and my own mother knew something wasn't right with me I was so down, Then I felt further apart God and I would pray. But I felt so much better watching this, I went straight to Jesus and I feel like I'm closer to him today. I'm caring more about my relationship with him now from the heart.

Many non believers I talk to speak of their dislike of organized religion, the rules the laws, etc...but it's about a personal relationship with a personal God through Jesus. You stated clearly that when someone loves you, as does Our Lord, one doesn't do things that would hurt them. God accepts us as we are, and as our relationship grows in Him, thereby the positive changes within us occurs. Christ is the only one who is sinless, and in Him, we "sin less!" I told my mom that I’m Christian for the first time , she’s catholic and I was scared to tell her but I did and I’ve never felt so peaceful. She didn’t really accept me and said that it’s all in my head and that I’m just confused, she’s very religious too but she’s against other religions so I wasn’t surprised. It’s just heartbreaking that she can’t see the beauty of god and how he’s manifesting inside of me and transformed my life. The simple fact that we’re all in re-United and connected through him is a blessing in it itself, I hope she comes to that realization soon.
I definitely understand and agree with your message i just wanted to clarify that word religion means set beliefs about God so it's technically incorrect to say it's not about religion but relationship with God,how can you have relationship with God without set beliefs about Him first. But again,i understand the spirit behind the message and i agree,it isn't about our works. Lot of people seem to misunderstand sin is sickness,we weren't born good and became evil that our works should matter,we were born evil,we were born sick,with sin nature. Jesus says the healthy do not need the doctor but they that are sick. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. The word in Greek used is metanoya meaning change of mind thus Him calling us to repentance means He's calling us to the change of mind which means we need to go from we don't need Jesus,i am good to i desperately need you Jesus,please save me and cure me. It is relationship with Christ and not keep Priests, Preachers and such between us if they do not lead us to a close relationship with God, Christ and the Holy spirit, then they work for themselves and not for God. AGREE! Personal relationship with Jesus saved me - not a religion. I walked away from God and my Addiction dropped me to my knees - Through AA he helped me come back to him not a religion. I found a non-denominational church I like - to sing and praise him. 2 believers talking and worshiping is a church at times. That'ts the Rock - My belief anyways- God bless you. Stay strong your still young - Satan never rest- / 24 hour a day thing in AA is something everyone should practice. / it keeps me grounded in everything not just fighting my addiction. Fall short?
