  • Quick, easy, and affordable way to make quilt labels. All you need is an iron, printable heat transfer vinyl, and an inkjet printer.
CAUTION: The ink in some fabrics may bleed through the label, as it would through another piece of lighter fabric. I highly recommend you test on a scrap of the same fabric and wash it to ensure it doesn't bleed if you intend to wash the finished quilt.

This was very helpful. I was not aware of this product. Thank you! '

Cool. I think I would stick them to a solid colored fabric, then sew it on the quilt.

Thank you for the tutorial. I learned something valuable.
FYI: When you have a cold, go to bed and sleep it off. Your body heals faster when you're asleep.

Great demo. I did buy some quilt tags that basically say Handmade by Leisa D that are on satin, foldover and sew into binding. (My last name is so long, it takes up too much space for those labels!). They were inexpensive. Your labels are a charming way to add more detail.

Hi, Thank you for this video! So, it is fabric, right? Do you also stitch it?

Hi! Thank you for the comment. It is not fabric, it is heat transfer vinyl. Similar to the silicone type prints or logos you see on some tshirts. It just irons on after you print it and you do not need to sew it.

So that was the dark HTV that you used? The label looks white in the video.

Great question! It is meant to be applied on dark fabrics (probably less transparent, so the color of the fabric won’t show through the label). The label will always be white so that you can print on it in color and everything else you want. This is why I bought a mixed pack.
