So... I finally tried the new perks. And by new perks I mean the Apostle, Drifter, and Crosslink. And let me just say I had a BLAST with all of them! I personally like Crosslink, as I can mess around a bit, but Drifter's "get out of jail free card" is also awesome, but double but, Apostle let's me play like an ABSOLUTE MADMAN. Too bad we can't combine perks and be double versatile. Anyways, this was my first look at the three new perks in Decaying Winter: The Last Strandeds.
Have you ever wanted to play solo in a game? Well, this is not the game for you! This game is punishing; it's horrific, it's TRAUMATIZING... and uh, fun to play if you have meat shields- PFFT I mean friends. I mean, what else are friends for?
Decaying Winter is a wave-based survival FPS game on Roblox. It consists of gathering supplies, praying you don't get killed at night, and then repeating the process. Albeit very scary and scary and... did I say scary? It's ultimately a GREAT GAME! I should log the amount of hours I've played because this game is addicting as hell.

The "attempted summons" are like the throwing knives, but they just do that mark that gives you hp when you kill them.
The shadow hunter will also target the enemies you target.
"marked" enemies also deal less damage to teammates and receive more damage.
Oh I didint read the comments :l and I posted what it does and I didint know they where already was someone telling about this
I know this is late and someone might have posted the same comment anyway but summoning a shadow hunter is not chance related and you have to aim at the ground for it to work. It won’t work if you aim up in the air where there is no flooring. Also you can throw a knife that condemns and stuns enemies but it does no damage to the opponent and it take 6 hp from you for each knife throw. I would recommend impatient, dependable (or fearless) and manic for the hand. Also it’s best to use the hand if you are going to use it for a long time due to the fact that it takes hp to equip it. Also killing condemned enemies makes your shadow hunter percentage go up and also gives you hp. Heavy attacks condemn enemies. (of course they do not stun the enemy and of course it deals damage) Shadow hunters will go after condemned enemies first so it’s best you mark certain scavs that can prove to be a threat. (gun scavs are usually the worst to deal with so I suggest marking them)

A little tip for apostles in a public server if one of your teamates die the apostle ability will fill up and allowing you to summon one more hunter
You tap F to summon (Must be on the floor and on a full surface), Hold F to throw The Seal of Riekala (Condemn Dagger)
Also don't do priv sever apostle cuz how often your 7 pledge teamates gonna die I recommend public sever rather than doing it with good players
Pick up once the knives are from holding it summoning The Shadowhunters are from clicking f once
You can use crosslink on the ground, Drifter you can right click but it takes more of your bar and holding f can tp you make sure not to hold it down for to long cause it will tp you back, of apostle holding f will launch a projectile that marks enemies for your summon to attack and if they are mark through the projectile or the heavy attack of your hand it will give you hp and its better to use your m1 attacks with the hand instead of using the heavy attack cause 4 swings can kill a scav when you kill the scav and if one of your teammates die you can summon another shadow hunter but you can only have a maximum of 2, its better for you to use your hand if you don't have your shadow hunter. And the sledge queen has 1.2k hp
Right click takes all of your bar for drifter If I remember
heavy attack for Apostle heals you, so just use 2 - 3 lights and a heavy to fully execute a scav

and pressing F with drifter while ability is active turns it off
If enemies are trapped in the crossing throwing knives one shot them which is pretty handy
Hey quick thing about apostle, if you condemn people your shadow hunter (the community calls them Dave how cute) will target them, also if you kill someone who is condemned with either the shadow hunter or your hand spike knife thing orbs will spawn around them and float back to you, giving you about 15 hp back. hold f you use 3 hp to shoot a spine that on hit will condeem a target. For 20 hp you can summon the shadow hunter. For 25 hp you can take out your arm blade thingy, on a charged attack you condemn targets you hit.
-your percent will rise naturally whenever you don’t have a shadow hunter out
-when someone an your team dies your percent is instantly sent to 100
-if someone died to make your percent 100 your new shadow hunter will have there avatar but black and misty
-you can have a max 2 shadow hunters, if you summon anymore the oldest one will die and be replaced (remember summoning 3 shadow hunters will cost you 60 total hp.)
-fun fact, you know the hanged shadow demon thing? And how it can stop you dead in your tracks and cause you to think about how you should off yourself? Your immune to that! Meaning that you can walk right by a hanged with no reprocutions! (Be carful, they still have a knife)
-when ever you walk by a hanged instead of getting suicidal thoughts, you see things like trator and betrayer. This brings up interesting lore points as technically your a shadow demon working for the agency instead of other shadow demons.
In my opinion apostle can be either a front line or back line fighter depending on the situation, they can sick Dave on people from afar (be carful though as if surrounded Dave can die on the first night, ) or they can be up close and personal considering the health back mechanic. Honestly this is my favourite perk of the update. Goodbye
you also cannot die by the hanger"s suicide ability
so yea. not only can you make enemies suffer from pthd
but you also have a natural immunity towards your old friends

Basically Apostle will only target people who are condemned, and to summon the demon just look at the ground and press F. Heavy attack with Theourgias hand or throwing a condemned knife (press F), you can also get another demon if a teammate dies, and the demon will look like the dead teammate.
They still fight non-condemned enemies. But condemning is a must
@@insertpng6289 you don't need to condemn EVERY enemy, theourgia's hand gives 15 hp regardless of condemn (although 6% ability recharge if they are condemned)

heavy attack condemn is also different from throwing stakes in that it doesn't make your minions beeline for the condemned enemy

YOO I found a glitch on last stranded so you need a gun with like 100 or 200 loaded on it then you need a mele any mele then find like a trap or ifak just smth with a number on it it's usually like 1 or 2 so if you equip the gun then press e and q at the same it will show up as a ifak but it has like alot of uses in it so next you drop it then pick up then scrap for like thousands of scraps lol

Recommended to use honourable trait as crosslink since you found no weapons at all and that you can at least parry

If someone is stuck inside your wire as crosslink you can 1 shot them with throwing knives cuz its the same effect as using a throwing knife without them knowing
I'd like to add on to the advice other people have posted if there are multiple apostles, their condemned marks will affect each others shadow hunters for example if a scav is marked on one side the of the map, the other shadow hunter will go after them even if it's not your shadow hunter, which can be an issue if both apostles are fighting scavs in different locations as the hunter will deagro on a scav and start going off somewhere to fight the marked scav
Crosslink is really good, with sharpnel device, concertina bombs, tear gas, etc. While they are stunned they are really easy to kill, and you can throw your sharpnel device while they are stunned, it really helps. Its a really good perk in solo or teams. For traits, impatient, calm and fearless are good.
also its good to do the trap you did at the beginning so ennemies cant jump over it. But you should attack them while they are stunned, and keep looping arround the big red thing so they get stuck, stuck and stuck.
and you can also use your fifth knife wire thing to put a little wire at the entrance

for people who don't understand how aposlte works is by taking your melee you take 25 dmg. If you look on the ground and press f you summon a shadowhunter that deals 20 dmg to you.if you hold f you throw something called a "steak" and when you hit a scav with it it condemns them and your shadow will target the scav. steaks deal 3 dmg to you and stuns scavs. condemned scavs give 15 hp
Dont know if you realised or someone told you but, with drifter if you hold F the place you stold at becomes a ”anchor” and after your dread knife is gone you return tp the anchor, and during dread knife you can press right click whenever to take your entire bar do deal an astonishing 150 dmg base. And with apostle you have 2 hidden upsides and 1 hidden downside, the upsides are: 1. If someone on your team dies you get your full reikgon(demon) bar back, 1.5. If someone does die, if you summon a reikgon the reikgon has the outfit and cosmetics of the dead person. 2, your immune to the hangers main ability + you get custom dialog. The downside is that your infection bar drains WAY faster.
Yo, crosslink and executioner work well together. If you have some friends you can team up and clear house real easy.
Also, you may have heard of the right click. If you have only one slash left ALWAYS RIGHT CLICKING as you get more damage out of your deal.
Crosslink works well with every class

Funny but helpful drifter fact: Drifter cannot get exhausted which means you can spam dropslide as a way of moving around the map!

hello this is St3v3R0ck5 a bit of a glitch searcher if you go to the back of the room in the corner near the place where you set up in 8:56 you can use a ladder and stand up there even if the ladder is not there and it effects like the locker

with apostle, if you aim at an enemy and use ur dagger throw ability, if the enemy dies it becomes a soul that will attackk others, if you aim the dagger throw ability at the ground, it spawns a shadow hunter, hope this helped

ik im 8 mounths late but for drifter u can hold to charge forward when your abibity is over you retern to where you started and with apostle you can press f to throw a knife to condemn a scav so your demon will target it
If you shot that with apostol if that hit someone that an you kill it, it help you to increase the amount of the ability and it give you hp(it will target the enemy that you hit with the ability in less word it just do the same that teourgias hand does but with range and it dosen't damage you) and if you hold F whit drifter it will tp you fordward in when the ability run off it will tp you back
Drifter has a second ability if you hold f at the ground in front of you. (there's a limit how far you can travel) you will teleport there cloaked with the smoke bomb stun. You will also be able to stab. When your knife is finished you will teleport back to where you triggered the cloak.

as a drifter you can hold f and teleport and once the ability is done you teleport back
Apostle spawns a mini sickler that does 50 damage per light hit and crit does 100-120 damage and it has a 50% to give the enemy artery bleeding or cripled
For apostle if you press F you will summon a demon ally(named D. A. V. E) at 100%
However,if you hold F you will throw a dagger that marks enemies as condemned, making your Daves targer that enemy.
Apostle further explanation: Press F to summon Monster Hunter has 150 HP and immune to gunfire on 50% HP.
Hold F to condemmed enemy Condemmed enemy will be target for Monster Hunter other scav thats near Monster Hunter will not be attacked as Dave focussed on the condemmed target, condemmed enemy that was killed by Monster Hunter or yourseld will regain ur health back by 10-15. RMB on Ourgia's hand will also condemmed the enemy.
Apostle hidden pros: Immune to Hanger influence and Dead Teamate will recharge Monster Hunter and when spawned Monster Hunter will mimick the dead teamate outfit. (Note: Condemmed enemy will recharge ur ability by a bit so always condem an enemy when none other is nearby.) ( Also condemming enemy using Hold F takes 2 health while ourgia's hand didn't take health to condemm)
Drifter: Press F to cloak nearby teamate are affected to cloak when is nearby Dread attack ates Supercharge by 20% when pressing RMB you deals 150 damage but ates your whole Supercharges and also launching you foward. Holding F result in a Anchor being placed on the place you cloak and when Supercharges ran out you came back to that spot
great for Ranged combat when low.
Crosslink explanation: Pressing F result in placing down traps that when sca walk on they are trapped and bleeded. The trap have limited range, Pressinh Right Mouse Button will result in pulling your trap damaging scav thats trapped and scav thats in the trail path.

When you hold F it locks in your previous position but after you do it you will teleport where ever you face whilst holding F. It can be used for sneak attacks and/or engaging in hostile combat whilst faraway.
Drifter works decent and sometimes well when attacking Reikgons.

Uhh summary of the perks:
Crosswire - trapper man, also throwing knives deal 150 damage to enemies in the wires
Drifter - edgy assassin. Right click does more damage, but ends DREAD. Holding F takes away 25% of the time with DREAD, but teleports you. When time is up, teleports you back.
Apostle - health management. Other comments should've told you the stuff you missed already.
Just watching you get obliterated by some slow scav with a big fork gives me 5 morale. JUST SHOVE .

And 1 thing you dont use someting you dont see is that you can make 2 tipes of dashes cuz if you hold click you do a dash and consumes 1 normal hit for your bar but the heavy attack with right click consumes all the bar but you can use it as final hit and is usefull and if you keep pressed the f a little bit more you will do a tp to closer enemy and when your hability finish you will tp again to the place you active it thats all you miss🤗
And by the way you dont use the curse of the right way cuz if you keep pressed f you will throw a enchantment that stunts enemys and make you demons (cuz you can have even 2 demons) follow that person till they kill him

rmb with drifter does a lot of damage
bye the looks of what i am seeing it depends on how much health the enemy has when you mark them because i saw one guy that was pretty much undamaged give more health back when you marked and killed him then when a almost dead guy was just marked and then was killed
almost full health guy- gave back 18 health
really damaged guy- only 3

tip for apostle is to have many medkits with you
Apostle summons aren’t that reliable against melee fighting only with gun fights only for making it balanced killing people restores 15 hp marking enemies by holding F (shoots a red thing that does 0 dmg but stuns the target sometimes you can save your teammates life’s by giving him that one second)
Some tips eat much food has possible to reduce dmg and increasing dmg to your hand is kinda like having an executioner sword but better if you can recover your health
Apostle summons can be instantly recharged if a teammate dies his character will be the summon

2TIP: Holding "F" Marks enemies for your Shadow Hunter or "Dave"

Crosslink - Press F to enable trapping mode
While in trapping mode your M1 is replaced with placing a wire point which you can connect with other wire points
the wire point connecting range is limited
you can connect multiple wires and create formations such as a star
your M2 or right click is used to retrieve the wires that are highlighted red
returning wires will damage enemies in their wire path connecting to your hand and not the other wires
Drifter - Press F to enable Cloak and Dread Hold F to Project a visible version of you from a distance
Holding F will not enable Dread (Knife on your left hand)
While in Cloak and Dread your mouse attacks are replaced with Dread (The knife on your left hand)
Your M1 is replaced with a quick slash
Your M2 is replaced with a dash heavy quick slash but will drain all your meter
Doing 3 normal attacks and 1 heavy attack does indeed work
you can cover your teammates with Cloaked when they are near you
4 Swings maximum
Apostle - MEDIC!
Pressing F at 100% charge will summon a Shadow Hunter (or sickler or blah blah)
Pressing F at any % lower than 100 will throw a Condemned projectile
Summoning costs 20 hp
Throwing a C-Projectile costs 3
The hand or Theourgia's Hand or Try not to press 1 by muscle memory challenge
The hand costs 25 HP to manifest
Extra Damage
Heavy Attack will mark an enemy
The Mark or Condemned
The Mark will attract shadow hunters essentially giving them a priority target
The Mark will make the shadow hunters ignore every other enemy around them
The Mark will give shadow hunters path finding (make them climb stairs and such)
Killing an enemy with The Mark will restore nearly 20 hp or so
Killing an enemy with The Mark will restore 6% charge
Your Charge will not go up unless you kill an enemy with the mark or a teammate dies

Holding F does project you in a longer distance and Dread will be equiped

For me it’s tormented, manic, and methodical because I use tear gas with apostle and that heavy attack is GREAT
