Honestly this season pass is polarizing for me. Elphelt missed the mark gameplaywise, Johnny is within the same boat but decent, but Aba/Slayer are downright amazing. I hope Strive reaches season 6 and we get everyone back! A new character I want to see badly though is prison clown pope herself Ariels ⚔

Love this kind of content where the community gets to hear from the developers directly. The passion for these games from both the devs and the players is what makes the FGC special
The character rankings across regions is fascinating, but specifically the part where Japan and Korea do not fuck with the idea of a guest character in Guilty Gear AT ALL.
Fr, but I can kinda understand, Guilty Gear just has such a great cast of characters that I'm sure people would rather have the stories of older characters continue rather than a guest character (probably Ragna) without any bearing on the plot.
But I was pleasantly surprised to see Order Sol so high in the rankings, especially in Asian regions. Hopefully he can make it to Strive some day, probably not as a season pass character since I feel like a lot of people would be disappointed if he took a season pass slot.

Guilty Gear is perfect without guests, if someone wants guests, they should play other games. And I say this as a new player

I just wana point out that may cosplayer isnt wearing the official hoodle from arc sys, its more detailed, respect to her
W devs. Their devotion to their playerbase and the GG series as a whole is incredible. Their passion really shines through in their games. The music, the art, the animations, the gameplay. I hope they continue to pour that same passion into all they do for years to come.

The initial comment on ABA was so on point. I hated characters with gimmick gauges bars, but ABA just clicked so well with me. She's extremely fun to play and she has become my main in the game. I love testing and trying new combos with her. Never in my life I would tough that I would like a character like that, but now she's one of the most fun characters I've played in my life.

IMO Strive should avoid guests. It's perfect with its own characters.

if for honor has taught me anything about 3v3s is that you dont use 90% of your moveset, just the biggest hitbox

Funny how most devs just cannot understand this concept since recent years, i'm tired of devs that try to school you on stuff that have nothing to do with the game, instead of making it they are just mad a character look better than them so they ruin the game on purpose now...or call new players "modern audience".

Okay…now do robo-ky and venom, the latter was hinted within slayer’s arcade dialogue and I think the game needs the lethal gag character back in some capacity as well
Also: the tutorial needs a slight rework imho, updated to include the new systems even

It's supposed to come in season 4. Not sure if it'll be right at the beginning of S4 or not though.
@@risha5642 I dont think they made a specific announcement for it. And they did announce the 3v3 a while before they announced season 4. Which makes me think 3v3 might be a late summer release to bridge the gap before S4 and S4 will release sometime in fall

my biggest problem with guilty gear is that I want to watch more content like this talking about the future, gets me pumped up for whats coming wish the devs did like a monthly blog or something that content creators could discuss in more videos. I can't watch games while i drive😭 oh an english dub would be really nice too but not necessary

Probably the same way or at least very similar to how it worked in +R though with it taking this long to be released I wouldn't be surprised if there were tag mechanics added to it
