Double check that there aren’t two blades suctioned together. And what is the condition of your cutting mat? Sometimes if it’s too many ridges the fabric will “sink” into it rather than have a flat surface to resist against.
I keep finding bits I haven't cut, although it's a new blade, and ( like 's just happened, I goes off away from the ruler at a slight angle) that doesn't make patchwork very good. I'm a beginner at that, just doing disappearing 9 squares. Am I going to quick or slow? Have the cutting mat on a table as well, so it's not wonky.
@@ghengis430if you’re finding bits not cut, there could be a nick in the blade… is there any chance you could’ve accidentally rolled over a pin. If so, that’ll nick it. Also, I cut over 2 mats joined together (1 isn’t big enough) and the cut always skips where the mats come together. There’s a little divot there where the cutter doesn’t make good mat contact.
Thank you
Great video! Thank you for explaining about the cutting mat, or ruller.

How loud are the devices?
I would say they’re no louder than a pair of scissors.
If I have a brand new blade and it still won’t cut through a single layer. Why?

@@murpml thank you. I checked. There was a nick! I've got a big cutting mat so that's ok.
