About the game:

I don't think people realise how amazing it is that this game is fully rendered out as one map, the fact you can literally run to the 2nd area is insane! No cutscenes or anything

@@dr.disprezz8590 well it's your fault, the Ps4 and xbone were already super old and outdated when they released in 2013, they are older than a 10 year old PC basically so yea you're playing on outdated hardware.

I genuinely feel sad for those who unfortunately faced bugs and feature that ruined their experience. This game is hellalot of fun, of course when it works (which for me, it is).
Agreed. I hit a bug where if I went to jump and swing from a metal cage, if I did not jump off in less than a second, Aiden would phase through the cage and free fall to the ground (and these were generally very high up in the air, so that meant death)
I responded to this by getting ridiculously stupid fast, acting like a pro gamer jumping from these and hitting that semi second jump, but I can see how others would rage quit from that bug.
Otherwise, I’m having a massive blast for the majority’s part (majority because I just missed the building during Lawan’s Shoes, so now I have to figure out a way to parkour back up to that building 😓)

@@Leon_S._Kennedy I hope Techland is going to address all such problems soon. They already have a 5+ year of support roadmap. Let's hope that they support this one just like Dying Light 1.
Somehow I only faced minor bugs like T-posing corpses and clip through object, which is really fortunate for me.
12hs ingame and not even 1 single bug. Idk man this game feel great. Just fucking healing items so hard to find
@@hoangnamnguyen8809 Best healing item currently in DL2 probably gonna be military medkit, which can be found in most GRE facilitys and GRE Anomaly combats. And these spots do respawn items so pay a visit to them regular, as gears and essentials can be found easily there.
Also try to farm uncommon and rare zombie in the world, their trophies can be used to upgrade you medkit blueprint, which enhances you healing proficiency significantly.
I don't care about what everyone else is saying about this game this game deserves all the praise that gets

Really wish there was accessible areas of wilderness like on the beginning of the story.
There will be later most likely, pretty sure the next DLC will have a brand new area to explore. I can't imagine they only include the wilderness for the prologue, its super detailed just for a one time thing

Maybe in Dying Light 3, I can imagine that you could play some dud or girl who lives more in the wood in a treehouse in the beginning and later find people in a city
Where would you parkouring at? You'd just be running around with trees. Only some grappling points, that's it.
@@jnrknd5477 1- the creation of DL3 is really a hard thing to believe. If waltz created the cure, maybe it would'vve given a possibility. 2- The wood is a really bad idea to go in a HTV breakout, if it's the same virus, as the tress block any sunlight. And finally, 3- no girlz, cring
The only complaint I have with the game is that bodies don't stick to spikes, but that's such a minor thing that I don't even wanna call it a complaint honestly. Parkour is the best I've ever seen in any game.
This and the ragdolls doing weird things are actually bugs, techland said they will fix it in their patch :)

I'm a retired senior gamer (don't laugh we're the fastest growing segment of gamers) with average skills who loved DL1 and got fairly good at it. Here's my take on DL2 after barely scratching the surface with about a dozen hours in: Stamina is super critical to build just to run and climb and get proficient at parkour, leveling up is harder and slower, nothing at the vendors is cheap and you need medicine and immunity boosters to survive so loot and sell constantly, and the hardest thing for me: you are always under a time constraint whether it's running out of immunity in the dark or to get out of a building you enter at night before dawn and the volatiles respawn this game is a challenge
8:33 that moment there when you see this abandoned and rotten place and around you you see the desolate wasteland and the zombies and you hear the ambient sounds just made my heart skipped for a bit, Dying light 2 is a really good game indeed.

Oh man I used to love the old grapple hook where you could just scale buildings instantly wherever whenever. I had all of the GRE inhibitors maxed out for the max stamina and I used to scale skyscrapers pretty much. It’s a shame they removed but very reasonable.
The fact that there's so much stuff outside the main areas is really cool
At exactly 1:19 when the music advances makes this a masterpiece with the parkour.

Damn! That is some impressive parkour skills! I can barely keep the paraglider flying a few dozen feet before I am landing.
You’re supposed to upgrade your tools by hitting all of the military supply drops on high tops of roofs.
I wish I had realized that before leaving Old Vilidore, because I only managed to get one single drop. I dunno where I’m going to go to get more.

I am getting a little better at it after finally figuring out that one of the upgrades gives the boost ability and actually figuring out how to use it. LOL.

And some people say this parkour is worst than the first game. Delusional.
It's a bit finicky at times, but so was the first. I think most people are having the "going from super crane to newby Aiden" effect.
The parkour is incredible the dropkick is even better the rope swinging is top and the fact that the map is huge this time around jumping from building to building feels really good

I remember when years ago when we first saw the sunken city in early gameplay that I actually thought it was old town from the first game. I know it’s not but it was cool to see it in gameplay

I've been playing dying light again lately since the second one was releasing. I had to start over due to lost save data but I didn't mind cuz the game was so good. I forgot how damn good everything was in that game and watching this took my breath away. Like, I love the parkour in the first game. I always thought it was some of the best parkour in gaming ever. This absolutely blows it out of the water. Due to some money issues, I couldn't get the game and it's probably for the best, that way techland can fix the bugs, which I know they will do since they supported the first game with new content for 7 years. I can't wait to get my hands on it though when I can. I'll just have to finish the first game again while I wait

Imagine that this happened in real life, year 2050, almost all people are dead, no electricity, no more fancy buildings, and you’re just right there doing some parkours, ignoring some zombies cause you’re already an expert in surviving.

It would be so cool if we could have more forest and unknown roads to discover, but that can be achieved in a near future. The map, as it is, is breathtaking. Although many building models are reused, the atmosphere created with the music and graphics is just out of this world!

Holy shit. I love how much different this feels compared to DL1 cities. Feel like an actual open world. In Dying Light you feel like you're in a bubble full of the same texture houses and the same streets over and over again. This is great. Can't wait to buy a new pc and try it.

Dang, I don't think I ever used that grappling hook outside that VNC Tower mission you obtain it in because I immediately went to unlock the flying broom.

For anyone asking how he pulls with grappling hook just press the grapple hook again and it'll pull you a certain length which is why he does it multiple times to actually go up.

I’d love to understand how he’s doing all this flawlessly or the grappling hook thing cause I’ll tell you now I’m about 75% on complete the entire game and I seriously see issues of aiden simply not grabbing obvious stuff etc and it’s pissing me off to no end lol… I wouldn’t say parkour bad but game error where instead of grabbing he tries to mount it then gets stuck? And falls?. It’s crazy how often I seen it

Did you up your stamina? Because usually that happens when aiden runs out of stamina. His stamina runs out as he climbs
@@Iampeeb oh trust me I haven’t even been close to running outta stamina for awhile. He just for some reasons willl try to climb like for example the best time I saw it was the yellow bars against brick in a water tower. He refused to hang just wanted to climb on it. Maybe it was because I was so advanced?? 700 stamina at this point

I have yet to see any weather effects. I am 20+ hours into the game although I haven't reached central loop. Is the dynamic weather tied to story progression or is something wrong with my copy?
